I nominate Chris and Rebecca Judd...

Chris for his :

"I am not going to die of cancer" pun at the cancer fundraiser, constant focus on the FinRev, his share portfolio and steely attitude to topics devoid of humanity

Bec for her :

Farewell pullaway kiss from Tony Jones

any other nominations???

Disclaimer: I have never met either of these people and don't know them

The Frosts.

I'm not a fan of Chris Judd because of his repeated on-field low acts and the way he managed to play some invisible "get out of jail free" card for them ....

But ...

1. his comment about cancer was not what it's made out to be. He was saying the worst thing he has to worry about is BO. While these poor kids have cancer. In other words, he was saying he's lucky; by extension, the kids are unlucky. He could have phrased it better, but in no way was he being smug or having a go.

2. Tony Jones? Entire civilisations have experienced the urge to pull away from Tony Jones even when he hasn't tried to sleazily crack on to them.

Nomination rejected.

Surely this is the full stop of this thread. Gold.

I’d like to think we can eek a little more out of it due to its obscurity.

I’m just concerned this post is a play for a link to “Nuffies on AFL Pages”

I'm therefore going to suggest Lou and Edna.

That is very cold, particularly on your behalf.

Cold indeed

How about James and Tania. No surname required. They're our Posh and Becks without the charm and warmth.

Are they still a couple?

Don Scott and Leigh Matthews.

Biffen does not like to boast too much as you will all agree he is a modest and brilliant man.

But Biffen did spend a night amongst the gauche and ridiculously wealthy on the  Portsea cliff one summer soiree last year dancing with Mrs Judd and her coterie.

Chris arrived to pick her up at about 3am after I'd worn her out.

There was more than a little warmth to the starving stripling that night but I'm sure this was an isolated incident.

Chris appeared to be dull and brooding, no doubt cold, terribly sober and a very serious young insect.Poor chap.

What's with the talking about yourself in the third person Biff?

Biffen considers it as the first person, in order of importance.

Moonshadow is impressed.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
