Every time the ball goes close to Lewis, I shudder.

Still loving Frost, Spargo, Hannan, Garlett at the MCG. Garlett is not even a shadow of himself, but at least he's quick. The other three have been massive for us as a topping on the cake that we know we have.

The Doggies keep their shizen 3rd quarter record alive.

Hogan is very good at getting free kicks directly in front.

Wow when we are on we are seriously amazing.

Beautiful to listen to. C'mon Hoges - kick a bag.

Foot -> throat time

Wow. Umps have finally noticed that Jesse has a neck and on or the two guys permanently glued to him usually have one arm around it.

It's taken thme weeks, but credit where credit is due ...... go you umps!!!

Someone once described Tom McDonald as like "An ironing-board who is really really good at footy."

Go Spargo you jet!

from the AFL site:

The horror third-quarter season trend continues for the Bulldogs as the Dees pile on seven unanswered goals in less than 15 minutes of football. Max Gawn is dominating the ruck with 12 hit-outs to advantage, 11 more than the next best player.

Behind the goal footage not great for Jones there. Had the chance to pick up Wallis for a while...

But go the Dees!! Hammering them this quarter. Go Spargs!!

A lot can happen in 7 minutes of game time, must keep the intensity up. Good finish from Spargo.

Absolute defensive liability

I've watched him and him alone twice live at the G this year. He does that all day. Awful from a leader

Razor Ray should get fined for contacting a player after that high five.

If you reckon Razor Ray hates the dees, just watch the interaction between Brayshaw and Ray there.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
