True, ... and Jeremy Cameron is shooting up the leaderboard as we speak.

Time for the AFL to end the Gold Coast experiment.

It's been a monumental disaster from start to finish. Two teams in Queensland clearly doesn't work and I'd rather a team in Tassie than a team which is completely irrelevant. The whole set up is an almighty black hole.

Feel sorry for Stewie dew got offered the dees job but didn’t want to move, now he has wrecked his coaching career taking the suns job

They will have to dismantle GC and start again from scratch. I don’t believe you can transfer the club over. Moving players from a beachy sunny party town to sleepy, cold and windy Tassie will not go down well.

I don't at all. Had the Dees job on a platter, refused, then decided to adopt the basket-case that is GC. Thank god we didn't appoint that type of ineptitude.

America, the Tassie bit may not happen, I agree it's not that simple. But the GC are probably the biggest 'who gives a shite' club in Australian professional sport. And I don't see the point in them existing.

Why invest more money into GC when Brisbane can barely keep their heads above water.

Will GWS ever average more than 10K?

They did a survey of their supporter base asking that same question. They both said probably not.

Surely must be up there as one of the most expensive blunders in VFL/AFL history.

No one is watching at the ground or via the box.  A complete ratings disaster and there is absolute zero interest in putting in from the bulk of the senior players.

The equivelant of Thor vs Ant Man

The look on Alan Richardson says it all he looks like a defeated man. A busted A hole.

What a disgrace of a club, there in for a decade of darkness.

So many putrid teams.. no wonder theres gonna be a bunch of top teams with massive percentages.

It would seem the only pride happening at the Saints is off the field

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
