Broken link (jeez the shop needs a tidy up. Links to Xmas 2017, banner/tiles linking to the wrong categories. Total shambles. )

That’s why it’s a sneakier peek...

search Google for “melbourne demons 2018 indigeneous guernsey” and you will see it and the link to this page. Looks like they have made the product but forgot to tell Google it’s a secret.

Fair dinkum, who is running the online shop?

Not only does the product contain no info, material/sizing etc, there's no link to sizing and if you can find it ( https://thedemonshop.shopdesq.com/sizing-guide) there's no info.

Does anyone here have contacts to the marketing department?

I'm 5'7" and 62kg slimmish/lean cycling/gym build - XS? S? M?

sorry, but if i'm honest it doesn't do anything for me

it doesn't look like a football jumper

it looks overdone, like some fancy dress, baroque tapestry

it might be good art but the mona lisa or blue poles would also make lousy football jumpers

i watched the nrl last night and theu had similar overdone garish versions too

i'd prefer something more subtle that fitted in without dominating, like the anzac jumper

I believe the information regarding the 2018 indigenous Guernsey is not live yet. Those images were pulled from the Google cache which is why the link is not going through yet.

I imagine when the club releases their press release on Monday in regards to it and it's meaning there will be more information and a working link.

This one is a step-down although impossible to top last years best.. why change it?

I understand why...just not a fan.

Agreed.

Just too busy - should stick to painting their footy boots.

Agree. Last year's was brilliant. I have an earlier, predominantly blue indigenous jumper which is OK but the design is too muted whereas last year's was a statement. This is not as good - looks a bit like a carpet. Perhaps if it held closer to the design of the original yoke rather than spreading the red all over the jumper it would have worked better.

As long as the indidgenous boys feel like it represents them, then that’s fine by me.

Personally think it looks great.

Exactly right @Cards13   it is a Noongar design

Am I right in saying that we wore the same one for 2016 and 17?  Love that one.

This round always brings out some great designs. This one’ll grow on me I’m sure.

The club will be stoked you have shared this.

It was up online on Wednesday I believe. I did a quick Google search after Sydney released theirs as I thought I had missed the news somehow.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
