Sorry ..have you missed the point. It's not liking a tweet. It is a photo of our player, clad in a Richmond scarf partying after the game in the Richmond rooms.  What part of that did u miss..all of it by the sounds

Yes but the Swans then went on a winathon easily dispatching teams no matter what their ladder position

MFC couldnt beat teams below it. God help the fragile mentality if we were in a similar position to the Swans

we wouldnt have won another game and this site would have melted

Exactly. 10 years ago people on here told me to be patient and to not be so hard on the mental fragility of the MFC.

I told them then, that they would be saying the same things in 10 years.

Guess what?

they are...

always a good excuse to hide behind at Melbourne.

Pity we don’t learn from our Storm neighbours.

Now there is a tough club. One of the toughest on Earth ?

Last I checked, Swanny was no longer a player.  Mithen barracks for the Tigers. It's all over her instagram. Is this sinking in yet ? Plays for the MFC,.barracks for another club. That sit well with you does it?

You are worried about the womens league??

I have no idea who plays for any club. Not interested.

The real stuff was on yesterday

She was also at a Geelong game wearing a Geelong scarf?

Geeez you are daft. It's not about women''s league vs men's league ..I am pointing out that we seem to have a number of people working for the club that are not die hard demons. This does not happen at other clubs.

I am sure many opposing players were out with their “mates” last night celebrating.

Does’t mean they don’t go hard at each other when playing the game

i think you are the one with the closed mind.

The AFLW has been around for 1 season with 8 clubs

if someone barracked for them all their lives and they won a Flag after 37 years, i don’t begrudge them a few Crownies and a selfie ?

You happy with this too.. ? Current listed AFLW player wearing tigers gear and getting down the rooms to celebrate. I am staggered that so many don't see that as a club our staff and personal are not as passionate about the MFC the ways us fans are. You don't get that at other clubs. It's unique to ours and it is why we are a fragile, mediocre accepting football club

Markedly different - a former adelaide premiership winner going to party with adelaide - vs a player with no known links to richmond, or rance...just grew up a supporter and due to her aflw affiliation can get to places most of us can't?

Are you down on clayton and max for liking it also?

also Clarkson who was a north and melbourne person - becomes one of the most credentialed coaches around at Hawthorn - diehard people don't win premierships... just ask buckley, voss, hird etc etc etc

Clarkson is a hawthorn person now tho isn't he? 100 per cent. Culture builder. He wouldn't be coming to Melbourne football club premiership parties, because he is committed to the club that employs him. Same with Dimma.  He has bought into the culture. As far as I am concerned, if you work or play for a club, you are 100 per cent committed to that club. End of story

He is referring to the Dees player in the middle there, who is obviously still a Tigers supporter...

I wonder if Simon took note of how Richmond played a zone defence ??

Sheedy got invited to so many Richmond gigs, but knocked them all back.

His reason was that he was first and foremost a Bomber......

He was.  Of all the things to beat up the club's culture about, a new AFLWOMENS player having Richmond mates and celebrating with them has to be about in position 500.   SOme people just can't resist beating up the club on any opportunity no matter how absurd.

Or we could talk about the passionate Richmond supporter who runs runs The demon shop...or our coach who wanted to have beers with the adelaide football club had they won yesterday

Just to clarify it took Hardwick 8 seasons to win a flag, finished 13th in 2016 and they wanted a new board & to sack the coach!

I think we can allow Goodwin to coach after his 1st season!

Just to compare our lists, I took their gun players vs ours. A bit of perspective?

Reiwolt  225 games 28yo         Hogan 51 games 22yo

Cotchin 198 games 27yo         Viney 88 games 23yo

Martin 178 games 26yo           Petracca 39games 21yo

Rance  175 games 27yo          Oliver 35 games 20yo

                                                     Tom Mac 126 games 25yo

Bit over the top to put TMac in that bracket. Rance had 2 or 3 AAs at Tmac's age.

Also don't think anyone on our list is going to be better than Martin.

Hogan might be better than Riewoldt if he ends up staying with us and learns how to kick.

Not saying they are as good as the Rich players yet but the age & game difference.... Reality is they have over 400 games more experience and we need to be patient as hard as it is!

So plenty of critics this week, telling me I was making too much of an AFL W player of the mfc supporting the Tigers...how do we all feel about this pic...yes that's a Foraged COACH....Troy Chaplin in a Tigers scarf. Get ya heads out of the sand...there is a culture disconnect at Melbourne and it needs to be fixed. Roos spent a long time creating, Goodwin and his team have the potential to wither it away.

Last I checked, Richmond don't field an AFLW team... not sure how her supporting the Tigers' men's team in their first GF for some time, affects her performance for the Dees AFLW team.

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
