Richmond supporters don't live in Richmond. They can't afford it.....

Why the hate for Richmond?

They have certainly done the hard yards and as a long term tenant of the MCG their supporter base far outweighs ours.

They have three stand out players that contribute most if not all weeks. When their finals hopes were on the line they performed including a thrashing of Freo in Perth.

Hell... I'm jealous... hope GWS win the big one

PS Good article in the Guardian and as usual the comments make great reading:

Classic win - win. Richmond stuck with him when he is 30+ and limits their options for mid range talent. North to flail around having elected to keep a coach who has not delivered.

Except against Melbourne!!

Let us acknowledge we are all experts in hindsight.

At least he stuck with his selected club and has shown loyalty (albeit well compensated), which is more than Scully. He could not seem tho look anybody at MFC in the eye whilst he was here almost as if he knew it was temporary.

Plus nobody would have wished the bad luck with injuries to one of our most loyal players in Trengove

Richmond window is now open this season then  next seasons, and that is it I don't understand these 7 year deals they are only good for the player in the long run,

I'll just say this one more time

Dusty's one arm fend off is so predictable his game is based on it

All it needs is a  midfield counter activate like Selwood MK 2 to grab that fend off arm and pin it to his body and render it inaffective

I call it the Aunty Jack I'll rip your bluddy arm off rule .

The AFL has been so innafictave on this rule this year it has allowed mind boggling tackling verses holding the ball decisions

easier said than done

dusty is a gem to watch; his ability to impact the contests and use the ball by foot is so good to watch, he's a massive weapon

He's a great player now but I don't care at all that we never drafted hm.

I would much prefer Fyfe from that draft if we could hop in a time machine.

and in his underage year you would never have predicted that he would become the player that he has become

such is the risk of assessing 17 year olds

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
