So package up all our picks for a first rounder and Swap for him your saying?

Makes more sense then the stuff I've seen in the JW thread.

@Siren seems to have gone quiet

Club has kept almost all information in house since the week started. Credit to them really. Last I heard was regarding Adelaide wanting the second first rounder making it difficult to bring in anything else of value.

Keeping it out of the media has avoided us being in a position where there would almost be an implied obligation placed on  us to get the deal done similar to Essendon  having to find a way to bring in stringer.

The difference is that we know that Stringer is on the market as opposed to the fictitious player that you are referring to.

Er, isn't that exactly what happened with Lever?

The opposite really.  There has always been an implied obligation on us to get the deal done with lever since he became known that we were his preference.

Sorry Siren, I'm calling BS on your inside intel. Your either rehashing social media or stating the obvious. Every year someone comes on here with 'inside knowledge' and self-back slapping and then almost disappears when shown up. With all due respect, I'm going to pay attention to the proven posters such as Chook or McQueen.

But good for you and keep it up!

I second this... when you said that you won't know the name of a target until it's released by the media I had my doubts of your sources...

Everyone knows by the time the media knows.

Not sure when I said that?

It seems a second round pick in this year's draft (and we're likely to have a few) would probably satisfy the Suns on Saad.

Thoughts on Saad in the red and the blue?

Appealing.

Yep, I think so too. But I don't know much about him other than from his highlights reel, which is pretty impressive.

Our back six seems set now. Would he be able to fill an outside role in the midfield? Is his kicking okay? Defensive pressure?

Getting pick 19 for Motlop is deranged. Hocking well thats typical. He is probably the softest player in the AFL.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
