For the first time in my life, I find myself wanting a Hawthorn win. I feel dirty.

nah if Richmond don't get ninth then it would be great for the Hawks to finish 9th and lessen the Saints draft pick.

Can't see it happening as the Swans are playing very well at present..... unfortunately

Hawks have had a solid patch of form.

Sydney will blow them off the park tonight.  Ill be bumping this post when it happens.

This weeks multi says, Sydney by 15+, Melbourne by 17+, Ninthmond by 19+, Port by 1-39, Geelong by 1-39 and Storm to win. 50/1.

What matters to Melbourne is the top 8 so worrying about the top 4 at this stage is silly. I really couldn,t care who wins tonite . If we win tmrw then I hope the dogs and saints lose coz they are hot on our heels for the 8. Brisbane winning would be nice but won't happen.

It is quite Pathetic...

I like Zac Jones a lot. I overheard him on the umpires mic dropping C Bombs at all the blokes at Hawthorn who I reckon deserve it.

He can come play with us whenever he wants.

It's anathema to Dees supporters.

Hawthorns game plan certainly worked really well that quarter. Controlling the ball and tempo of the game nicely as they did when they beat them last game. Some of their young guys a super impressive.

Just need to make sure they can get players back quicker when they turn it over. Getting caught out the back quite a bit.

Is it just me or do others think James Sicily is becoming a bit of a tool. I mean wasn't he the player a few years ago staged big time against us and missed his shot at goal and the melbourne payers ran to him.

Last week we saw him get into a spat and swear at his teammate and yes I don't mind a bit of passion but seriously I wouldn't be targeting Zac Jones.

Hawks copying Goodwin's tactic of running forwards from the back of the square during centre bounces

All the footy shows during the week talking Clarkson up as if he's a master tactician who's ahead of the rest with reinventing the way the games played.

He's always been a tool, just a bigger one now.

Hawks are starting to cough it up. Sydney are trying to shut down their short passing game. Hawks will needs to take more risks through the corridor and counter attack if they want to stay in it.

Been very impressed by hawthorns tackling. They're sticking tackles and removing the ball from Sydney possession causing turnovers Sydney haven't been used to.

Gotta keep that scoreboard close. I think they could win this if they can keep it close.

Without Riewoldt Tigs may struggle.

Sydney looking very average, perhaps to be expected after 7 in a row? Hawks getting a good run from the umps is helping as well.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
