GAMEDAY - Round 17

Featured Replies

Terrific to see JKH just trotting along once the ball was out of his reach. A real killer instinct that one.

They are dropping and throwing at will at the minute

We needed the first goal.

If we can keep the margin to about 18 points I'll be satisfied with the way things have gone tonight. I didn't expect better than that before the match and certainly not after quarter-time.

We would need to win the quarter

Plugger free in front - holding the man

Hogan marking it now. If nothing else this game has been very helpful for him.

Grab of McDonald's jumper but man that was soft. I'll take it though. Get the next one now Dees.

I think there was a free there to McDonald, but certainly not the one the umpire paid.

What is the point of playing smith?

why throw him in the deep end

Who would you rather as a mid size back that is fit or in form at Casey?

Frost has been awful. I don't think there's been an Adelaide goal where he hasn't been absolutely pasted.

Adelaide's run is bullet-like. I can see how they've just destroyed teams this year.

Frost again flying, missing the punch and going to ground... so costly.

Agree. Definitely holding, not in the back

Still, they missed a couple right in front to Hogan

Surely if you attempt to take a speccy like that and don't even touch the ball, it's interference.

We need to lower our eyes. Stop [censored] bombing it to their talls. Ffs.

where is matthew whelan??

Umpiring and commentary is worse than [censored]. Just awful.

Not good conditions for him here.

Their talls have done okay.

Has Eddy Betts ever kicked a goal where the commentators haven't orgasmed at the end of it?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
