Hindsight would have taken him over Brayshaw.

And the Saints would've taken Petracca over McCartin. What's done is done.

Here's hoping the Aints have just as much success with their two first round picks as they have with the sharp shooting, bust - a  -gut McCartin. Pity Raph Clarke hasn't younger twin brothers.

Gee the Swans have awoken, looking ominous. But, on the upside a win has us sneaking into the eight, pushing out the Saints. If Carlton and GWS have success we should sit in 6th spot. It would be nice to cement that spot going into the bye.

Usual Tiges ploy... Pretty certain I've read this book before.

GWS playing to another bumper home crowd of 2,000 at Spotless Stadium.  Seriously, the presence of a team with no suporter heartland like this is soul destroying for the whole competition.  Please relocate the entire team (including their players) to Tasmania, where they would actually be appreciated and supported.  I wouldn't begrudge the Tasmanians for enjoying some well deserved success and state representation.

Just one thing, they could leave Tom $cully in Western Sydney, he is the perfect fit for that souless place.

GWS have so many injuries even they have been brought back to the pack the season is so open now anyone can win it

surprised the techos at ch7/foxtel haven't used their skils to insert a digital crowd onto the screen complete with raucus cheering when gws18 are playing

A whatoprolite?

A coprolite is a fossilised turd Rod - so you could actually polish it.

Or even mount it - arrgh  that came out badly.

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
