GAMEDAY - Round 7

We have WAY too many players in this side who are horrible by foot. Can't win games of footy if you cant move it by foot.

Handball to hawks player....

Rinse and repeat

Our tackling is deplorable

Hibberd looks a class above

Agree. He actually takes the game on. Hibberd and Hunt have a dip.

Same old team. Go in as favorites and play like a VFL side.

Foot on ball = kick

Somone should of mentioned it at the break.

Bugg gets it...

They handball to someone 3-4 meters away free. We hand ball 1 meter if that to someone under pressure. Hopeless. They must be under instruction to do it at they think 'it's fast' but it ends up being super slow

Jkh has been scintillating since his comeback

Half our average number of handballs for an entire match....in one quarter!    Heading for a big loss!  IF we dont reverse it....NOW!!!

Edited by Rusty Nails

Any one backing JKH getting a game next week. We are playing with 21 players each week.

Hawthorn’s outside run is destroying us.

Australian handball league

That's because we have one or two too many at the drop.......easy pickings once they get it out and we have not enough outside options once it escapes the inside ring

Typical bombing into 50

How is kent not getting a game?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
