Did the umpire throw away his whistle?

I think he swallowed it. Contact above the shoulders seems to be allowed at training. First against Trenners, then against Gus

Sometimes I just marvel at how they don't all end up with bits of them twisted off, snapped, and hanging from one last sinew.

You'd think that all it would take is two players bound up in a wrestle, and another to bump them unintentionally and unexpectedly while going past, and by the time the ground gets involved it is hospital time.

But there is some kind of deep human instinct for the 'instant release' at the critical moment. After all, almost all human wrestling and push-shove is between children who are quite close.

Keep not breaking eachother, kids!

Brilliant 666 - or should that be DCLXVI (spooky).

The MFC should pay you - far superior photos than the offical AFL ones in so far as they really show what is happening.

With Jones, trac, Trenner, VB and Kent we have no shortage of thunder thighs

Green falls over, blue gets ball.

ย

Great sequence. ย Love how Trengove got pushed away by Jones, but he stayed int he contest and laid the main tackle on Gus.

I'd just love it if Jack could cement a spot in our starting 18 each week. ย Has been said endless times on here, but the bloke deserves it. ย We know heย hadย the ability.

Triple I think it is frowned upon around here to operate under a nom de plume.ย

I forgot my password whilst travelling and created a 2nd secret identity, I think it was ManDee in Vietnam. They never worked it out, phew.ย

666, dclxvi, what's in a name?ย They are both the number of the beast. One for the present and the otherย I used when dealing with Juliusย Caesar.

The truth be known 666 on my PC and dclxvi on my phone.

This is why I like Demonland. Iย love all the MFC stuff, but then you learn things. Like 666 in Roman numerals is actually all the numerals less than 1000 in descending order. And then a bit of parallel research tells me that 666 is also the sum of the numbers from 1 to 36 added together. What's not to like about Demonland?ย

And aka won the Brownlow in 2001 which was the 74th Brownlow. So if you multply 2001x74=148074 div by 666 = 222 x3* = 666

* 2001 first of three flagsย

Spooky and it's Friday the 13th and this year we will win our ?th flagย

Pity you couldn't find room for the number 1729 in your maths treatise.

(And your arithmetic is wrong. 2001 x 74/666 X 3 = 667!)

I still love Demonland, though.

There's always one.

That's it, minus one equals 666

Back on track.

The obvious increase in muscle, on the players, is very pleasing.

Combine that with increased fitness, more talent and a good game plan and you can't help but be excited for the years ahead.

PS. I wonder if anyone told Gus to go forward when he picked up the ball, instead of turning back into trouble.
