GAMEDAY - Round 19

Opinion: If the padding on the goalposts isn't enough to stop someone getting injured when they hit it, there isn't enough padding on the goalposts.

I swear we just dont want to score.

Enough of the terrible handballs.

Chooks 2 goals

He's doing great. I'm a fan. Just, I don't think full-forward is really his bag.

Harmes again with awful disposal.

I've never rated Vandenberg as highly as everyone else here seems to. His disposal is Matt Jones-like.

He he a lot of mates, Kent disposal is M Jones like.

Kent Harmes and VandenBerg all need consistency

Once we get in front we will stay there.  All over them now, just need to make it count.

I don't know what it is though, but we are incapable of actually putting it on the scoreboard. Just look at last week, 30 more Inside 50s yet we lost by 6 points.

We won't go anywhere as a team until the coaches work out how to convert midfield domination into scoring.

Vandenberg is rubbish

[censored] him off

Vandenberg. A fringer.

This post belongs in the Melbourne v West Coast matchday thread.

And VandenBerg drops a sitter, turns it over with an errant handball and GC get a shot on goal. Get him off!

VDB is a shell of last year.

Terrible.

How good was that from Petracca?  He will be such a weapon for us going forward.

Agree with the others too, Vanders having an absolute mare.

And another thing... How many times do we see a pack form for a high ball and we have every Dee's player going for it, 0 stay down or we end up spoiling each other.

VDB again had a player 2 meters from him and missed him by a meter, turn over.. Lucky they missed at the other end.

Chris Dawes is such a spud…except when he finally gets good delivery like a normal forward should.

Dawes! Re-sign him.

We are dominating around the ground but overusing it and overworking ourselves.

We make kicking goals look like splitting an atom with a butter knife.

Last week we had no right to lose.  This week we have no right to be in front.

Funny game, football.
