Hmm he might be good at finding space. But he won't be able to use it. He will be rushed all the time

Depends on how clean our possession is I suppose. I still back him in to get it and use it before he gets caught, but agree he seems a liability in the wet

thought watts courage and commitment was fantastic clean hands and showed just how skillful he is even in the conditions,he really is the most improved player we have.I reckon he has finally made it

Poor judge Joeboy ,Watts was clearly one of our best.

Hogans work rate was poor .

I thought Petracca was good. Kicked a few on the full but looked dangerous when he was near the footy.

Jb uils it but I thought watts was very good today.

Re trenners the poor bloke seems to have lost a lot of his speed.

Tmac kicking acroos goal in the wet wasn't good but he played okay.

Oliver and vdberg seem to have dropped a lot of their form last 2 games

Trenners was speedy at one point!?? o_O

Mc Donald was thrashed by buddy and you reckon "A steady game" Rubbish!

You clearly dislike Tom. FYI I was listening to AFL live and Walls, Donegan and Co were discussing giving Tom votes, even though Buddy kicked 4, with the help of team mates and umpires.

Jones "Lacks football brains"

The man is hard as a cats head head but puts his own players under pressure with poor decisions.

Been saying exactly that for years. He sometimes is a liability and he adds to the congestion around the ball

Joeboy, everyone on this forum loves Wattsy now.

Time to blow my trumpet now. I posted ever summer, when people were calling for getting rid of Watts and Hunt, that they were my two players for predicted big improvement.

It's a cold wet day so for some extra sunshine Redleg you were also pumping up Billy Stretch's credentials; fair to say that's 3 out of 3. The emergence of Hunt and Stretch has been particularly important in light of the decision to draft Oliver over Parish (both good draft choices) as it increased the relative importance of our current stock of outside runners stepping up.

Thanks for enlightening me.. I actually like him too, in fact he's my favourite current player.

I'm not quite sure why so many are taking my 'basketball' reference about Watts so personally. In my opinion his efforts on Sunday were fair if it were a dry day, however on a rain drenched ground and with a waterlogged ball his game was totally inappropriate.

Yes, I agree about Watts and I gave him votes.. I guess that makes me a GOOD judge and I accept your apology.

Hogan's stats were superior to Franklin's, who was regarded as close to best on field.. go figure.

Your appraisal of Watts was less than flattering yet you gave him votes?

Upon closer inspection ill accept the Hogan one.

When we lose everyone is useless. When we win, everyone is brilliant. Yet, I still continue to open this thread after each game.

Yes, but I think we have a more honest analysis when Melbourne loose.

Relax. I'm not taking it personally. It was tongue in cheek.

Many have made their peace with JW.
