Roos said he'll make 4 changes. He made 2. Why?! It makes no sense that we don't keep refreshing the team when we are so young and tire quickly off a 6 day break.

We can't be a serious club until we stop selling home games, but that is another issue.

Hawks sell off 4 a year it's working ok for them.

Nothing to do with us.

We shouldn't be selling home games.

The coast to coast goals though. Same against the Saints. Same against the Dogs. Half decent opposition can have a field day. Hard to watch.

Kent is almost making me wish we still had the sub rule.

Dean Kent's worse football is as bad as VFA standard. Disgraceful.

What an horrendous first half.

Thats mighty harsh on the Camberwell Cobras...

Conditions in Tassie are a bit easier to deal with than Alice Springs, this game seems to take it out of the players for a week or two

It's a broad generalisation.

About time this club made a stand and finished this game hard.

Dont care so much if we lose now but I just dont want to see such insipid and weak footy.

Midfield needs to lift big time. If we do this it takes the pressure of the defenders and creates more inside 50s.

Stop being 2nd to the contest and get on top in the ruck Max.

I've flicked over to Brisbane and Hawthorn.

Two things - we're lucky we didn't cop Brisbane this week, they would have murdered us.

And Hawthorn are going to give us another absolute belting next week.

Garlett, Kent and Kennedt have nor laid a tackle. There's our forward press totally broken.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
