Cold and overcast but not raining at the moment.

A bit of wind and/or a bit of rain will only help us, you'd have to think.

Game will be won or lost in the coaches box. If we give Stringer the same latitude as we gave Reiwoldt, game over.

yep best coach will win this one

Simon Goodwin says he has "no doubt" Jesse Hogan will re-sign with Dees. Described Clayton Oliver as "something special" @triplemfooty

I think this game will come down to the midfield, if we win the contested ball and make the most of the dominance Gawn is going to have we will be hard to stop.

hoping it's not another one of those games where the opposition continually gets the ball 'out the back' then slingshots it home for repeat goals. we are well capable of winning if we bring our best to the table.

I was thinking about that. You may be right but I'm inclined to think that the key for us will be to not allow the Dogs to waltz the ball out of defence. A lot of their run on stems from there.

Very windy at ground level.

Oh definitely! but i think our tall forwards will have a significant advantage in the air, if we dominate out of the middle it will put their backline under serious pressure, but as you say we need  repeat entries to keep that pressure right on

This is part of the parcel. If we're leaking goals out the back it probably means we've got our aggressive forward defence going.

That's what killed us against those drug addled, morally destitute Bummers.

Absolutely stoked in Adelaide by the news that I will not have to listen to either....

Drain "I love Stringer and hate Melbourne" Russell

or

Sandy "I have no f'ing idea what day it is" Roberts

I'm hanging out for the game where Sandy calls Hogan Neitz. It will happen.

He's just as likely to call him Klink I reckon.

I said before the Saints match that we needed to capitalise on the Saints undermanned defence with relentless attack. Unfortunately they anticipated that by playing relentless attack and making a mockery of our zone defence. They also found the way to nullify how heavily influential Gawn's ruckwork is.

Bevo is no fool. He'll have spent all week working out how to win this game without much of a defence. They know we'll score heavily if we get it in our forward line, so watch them lock the ball into their forward half.

I'm not nervous about today though I think we'll lose by at least 30 points; Bulldogs are a seriously good team and we're going to be inconsistent as such a young team. As long as we give it a shake, I'll be happy. Another Etihad capitulation like we had last year against the Dogs and I'll be seriously [censored] off.

Weather is erratic - squally then nothin clouds about .

Ok, go Dees. Bulldogs with lame banner. Let's hope it's a reflection of their play.

The pre game tune that the Dees run out seriously gives me chills!

Love it.

Viney kicks our first!

We must be the most scored-against team on the rebound in the AFL.
