Guys

I am hoping that someone can assist me here. I am looking for 1996 Melbourne games in full, on either vhs or dvd. Trying to assist a friend of mine who is trying to collect every single game in 96.

We are aware that name a game/sports delivered would have a lot of games for season 1996, however, my mate would rather trade footage - he has a lot, than pay name a game big $$$

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Wasn't an overly memorable season by my recollection ... a lot of thrashings and a couple of really close defeats,  but I do remember a great win over in Adelaide against the crows.

I was at this game (at least I can say I saw one of the great modern day performances), does anyone remember how the team ran out without the banner on this day? In protest of the 'takeover' of the hawks the cheersquad put the banner up in the top rows of the empty great southern stand. Something like "go to hell we won't merge".  Any cheersquad members remember the exact wording?

Also remember that game well. I was only 10. My dad was sitting undercover with his mates, I went down to sit near the front, ground-level. I'd only be supporting the team for a few years. I'd seen too many horrid belting in such a short period of time. I was breaking down, so much so some random guy consoled me. I remember we kicked the first few goals and we were dominating for a good 5-10 minutes, but then they scored like 16 of the next 17 goals.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
