You are correct he does. So he may be around next year however I still think he is gone.

I dont think it is a lack of talent. He has shown some slick skills at times and thats what we need to compliment our hard nuts. The question is on his body. If he is contracted then great, but if not I think he would be a delist and rookie candidate. He has struggled to get his body right but so did Hunt. If he can play out this year at Casey and have a big preseason I think he is worth 1 more shot. Him linking up on a wing could be good.

Have always thought JKH would develop into a midfield runner in a similar fashion to Stretch (more so than a crumbing forward). Has good acceleration and agility and his endurance in his junior days was always very good.

 

He’s basically had two years ruined by hamstring injuries, so I'm hopeful he can have a good run in the back end of the year. Still think there’s a role for him going forward if his body holds up.

I sincerely hope that JKH can play out this year at Casey without further injury, then have a full pre-season and get a chance to prove what he is worth during 2017.

The comparison with Jayden Hunt, who many would say looked gone 12 months ago, is interesting - hope he can turn it around in a similar manner.

His role?  Depth mid with runs at HF and HB?

He reminds me of Chance Bateman. 

I don't think he'll ever be more than depth for us, but good luck to him.

I disagree.

Maybe not first choice best 22, but a quality alternative when required. He just needs to get his fitness right and natural development of a player who has been in the system a few years.

I hope that that game could save / resurrect his career...if he can stay injury free and repeat that form for the rest of this season.  I doubt if, regardless of VFL form, he will be ready to play AFL in the remaining rounds.
