How 'positive' of you od!

Well I have been told by those on high that it is all my fault.

So the waves of positive thought this week will produce a win.

It will won't it?

Well, of course, if our negative thoughts make them play badly the opposite must be true!

However, I can't cope od, if your good self (of all DL posters) becomes the ever positive one!

Who will keep the rest of us emotional, irrational types, that get carried away with every tiny piece of good news, grounded!

We need you to shed this 'veil of positivity' and return to the pessimistic/realist od we know and love!

Sorry no can do only positive thoughts from here on.

I am worried Dawes might not get up this week.

We need his skill and marking ability in the forward line not to mention is accurate goal kicking.

Go Chris !

At our absolute best, they're still a 4-5 goal better side.

At our worst...dear me..

Newsflash! GWS have announced they are resting the whole team for the last round and will be sending the Paramatta U 17's in their place. I reckon we will have a real chance. Make sure you get to the Docklands early so you can fully experience the eerie abandoned feeling. Pre game entertainment will include tumbleweeds blowing across the playing arena and a carcass and vultures. Level 3 will be closed because the AFL is worried that the 4,612 Melbourne supporters may consider ending it all by jumping en masse "as a statement to get the attention of the club." The playing group will enter the arena to the sound of Handel's Requiem......etc etc etc etc

Let me re-phrase in a more positive manner.

I'm confident that we will score 50+ points thereby eclipsing our last 5 performances against Fremantle.

Better?

Now you are getting it.

Mr Roos will be so impressed.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits.
