GAME DAY - Round 8

If Pedo keeps playing well and kicking the odd goal, i cant see Dawes getting a look at seniors.

I think we have the right forward structure height wise, Hogan and Pedersen.

Dawes can play at Casey until he can impose himself.

Toumpas impressive. Showed some nice poise. Spencer an unlikely hero at the end. Has the world been turned upside down? Grimes' last kick would tell me no.

Interesting stat. Pedersen is one of the most accurate shots of goal of current players.

Hate to say it but Pedro is a better player then DAwes

Pedo lookin good

,,,, thanks Neeldy ;)

Anyone else hard?

How much did the doggies pay for that one handball from Boyd?

Watts pleasing (see watt I did there?) is that our worst aren't in the team in a week or three when Viney Salem frost get back...

minus Bail and Jones we will be 3 goals better

Tom Boyd is $7,000,000 worth of Datsun.

Boyd red vest!! Well done Fitzy

We have...dare I say it. Got our run on!!

Brayshaw is looking tired today

Howe playing forward with Fitzy down back

Pedersen has done so much more in half a game than Dawes has all season.

Do you think we are missing Dawes?

Boyd red vest!! Well done Fitzy

If Boyd is worth $7mil, hoe much will we need to pay to keep Hogan..?

FMD.

That was shite by Bail, should have tapped that forward to Garlett

Sub Bail now.

the older players that came thru the 2004 til 2011-ish era are all damaged. forgotten how to win, & to focus, on the finer skills. arrested development

they need a fresh pasture & environment, most of them, to recover.

May well have been touched but had to call it a goal, on evidence available.

Can't any of these useless maggots bounce the ball?

God toumpas makes some bad decisions - I am hoping its a lack of confidence

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
