GAME DAY, ROUND 1, 2015

I don't mind what McDonald did then but the kick was low percentage.

The commentators are useless.. Do we play to defend, LOL.

NO, absolutely not. We play to attack, we play to win by 10 goals even though it looks like we are hanging on.

Amother super kick from McDonald straight on to a Gold Coast players chest

[censored] Toumpas is [censored] under pressure

Yeah, it's a worry. It is mental. I cannot believe we don't do that testing before drafting.

Very poor recruiting. On the positive, Roos is the right guy to coach Toumpas.

I love that H.L shepherd on the mark. I loved it when he was at Collingwood, and I love it a million times more for the red and blue.

5 mins ago Kingy and Derm were talking defense, haha.. Now all the sudden we have to attack - and we are a goal better off than better.

These guys should be banned from calling games. They do it too much, it is just short sighted and ignorant. I see why they never ventured into the coaching arena.

HOGANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Weathered another attack

This is a great effort. Should give the boys belief.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
