Can we? I read somewhere that you can't trade them 2 years in a row. I'm pretty sure it was a supporter comment somewhere though, been wondering if it's true or not.

Can trade 2 in 3 years

It will catch up and trip some teams up this futures trading. I think we're on top of this.

even better, because we had 2 first rounders this year we can trade 3 in 3 years

Not sure. I believe it works you can only trade 1st rounders 2 out of 3years as a rolling condition. So in the3rd year you can't. Not how many...how often .

nope. the rule just states the min no of first round picks you must use (as in draft) in a rolling 3 year period

Sam Day's rumoured to be leaving? I hadn't heard that. But you could add David Swallow to the list of potential outs too. Big problems up there.

Wonder if Day could be a KPD target?

Seb Tape was one out of the box at the time, and was given early games but has fallen off the map so much I forgot he existed.

Not sure that it was a draft blessed with great depth though.

hawks are after whitfield too, fwiw.

So they should be, and they're after everyone aren't they?

So should we be. Hard.

The missing ingredient: hard running classy rangey wingman who can win his own footy.

I would normally agree but with the bones there a punt on O'meara could be one worth taking.

I personally rate him very highly.  A clear run could see him as the best player in the comp.

I'd rather Luke Oliver than Prestia .

On the park I rate him

Is he there yet ?

Would love a whitfield or josh kelly type. That along with a good kpd would round us off nicely

Who's Luke Oliver?

A horse trainer. Maybe he thinks Prestia will make a good jockey.

Reckon I'd take Prestia in this instance...

Clayton lol

We already have Oliver... you don't have to choose between them.

Why wouldn't you have both if given the chance?

Good to hear. Prestia would be crazy to stay at that shambles of a club while the club he passionately supported as a kid is on the rise big time.

Jump on and enjoy the ride Dion.

It's round 7. He had a clean up op on his knee late in the pre season. He should be well and truly back on the park in full training and possibly playing by the end of the year. That's a long time away. If he is great, if he isn't move on.
