For over 7 years now, some will argue considerably more, the last rounds of the season have been more interesting and exciting for us in terms of who might be lured to the red and the blue, then what actually was happening on the ground. We won't discuss 2012 in terms of recruitment as that doesn't need revisiting, but with the arrival or Tyson and Vince, things are looking up. Roosy signing a third year can only help. I'm running the risk of serious p$&@ taking but could we start a legitimate, "ON good authority ....(players name) is now/becoming/will be a demon next year...

the draft/trading sub forum is never on "good authority". it is alway a poo fight of ridiculous rumours, tripe and odd occasion of truth.

Which is almost as frustrating as the main board being filled with a smorgasbord of gifs and memes . . . . .

HEAVEN FORBID AN INTERNET FORUM WITH MEMES AND GIFS! What is the world coming to?!

The ignore feature is a very useful tool. You should try it and let this be your last vision of me:

....and you think you have good reason to think that this thread could be otherwise? :-))))

The three main rumors are Shiel (targeted last year but GWS weren't prepared to trade), Cameron (although Roos claims he is "unaware" of any such talks) and Malceski (Roos says we have not contacted his management in the last 8 weeks, read into that what you like).

We might try Rockliff again as we were apparently incredibly close last year (would've been a done deal if Voss wasn't sacked), and could pick up O'Keefe for a year if Swans delist him, unless he retires at EOS.

No doubt there'll be another 3 or 4 "who?" pickups like Michie and Riley.

It's ok Song. I think I've even gone down that path on occasion. And I couldn't put you on ignore and miss a daily dose of a topless Stephen Tingay.

I must confess to a very embarrassing story today. Like you, I'm a teacher. I was showing a film today and was quietly happy with my developing technology skills being able to show the film on the projector yet still work on my laptop. Unfortunately, I pressed the wrong button at the wrong time and the film on the projector was replaced with my desktop. I had actually been doing some work but thought I'd just pop on to Demonland (like so many of us do during work!) so of course an image of Demonland replaced the film for all my class to see. I'll give Demonlanders one guess which poster's avatar was on display!

like it...

& I just wonder if we'll do a swap with another club, like for like, for a couple of contracted talented underachievers ?

Richmond love taking in other club's rejects for good picks! They traded their second rounder for Shaun Hampson..! (While we got Bernie Vince :)

How's about we trade Nicho for their first and second round picks?

so no ones got anything 'on good authority'? The names have already been well discussed, probably too much.
If you have any credible information, please do post...

Ok here we go.

I have just returned from the Gold Coast where I saw Gary Ablett and his girlfriend shopping. I was wearing a Demons cap and he smiled at me. Therefore he must be a certainty to be coming to us next year.

We will be using our first rounder and giving Lance Whitnall a 7 year $600,000 per year contract heavily front loaded. Apparently he's had Lars surgery on his knees and they are good to go and he's not really as fat as he looks. It's just the performance enhancing herbs he is taking which are making him retain water. I'm pretty sure he is taller than 192cm as well....

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
