Oh ok, So he was maybe criticizing Gawn, or maybe thought we shouldn't have re-signed Spencer? You believe everything you read on the net BBO?

Christ Stu, settle down and try (I know it's difficult for you) being logical. Reread your comment - it's silly. I believe there is something called list management. or future planning. Now, given Jamar's age, and the fact that both Gawn and Spencer have had serious knee issues would it not be prudent to keep an eye out for future replacements?. This not being disrespectful to anyone - it is good planning.

Being logical? Like making assumptions on what a poster meant despite what he posted and then starting yet another argument with me cos it's just what you do...

Were you in the Hassett Room Stuie?

It's actually up to someone to prove something DID happen rather than it didn't. As I said earlier, you could make up anything that way. ie- Peter Jackson told me in the Long Room that you wet your pants. Now, were you there at the time to say it didn't happen? Cos if you weren't then that means it DID happen.

Far out. Have you guys even been on the internet before?

I didn't make an assumption Stu - I postulated an alternative. Now go away and learn a little about the rules of logic and debate before engaging with me! Goodnight!

When you "postulate an alternative" but disregard the others you're making an assumption.

Paul Roos said at training the other day that you pick your nose and eat it. Now, being you weren't there to hear it then it must have happened.

im not the one disputing a posters comments on the forum, who was obviously at a pre match function where some information was given which GIG chose to share

Stu you have this childish habit of needing to have the final word. This is not uncommon in one who has not attained full maturity and cognitive development but, unfortunately, it tends to confirm those very facts.

The final word? Like continuing to post after saying "Goodnight".... Nice to meet you Pot.

Give it a rest, children.

Stuie is right to question whether or not the comment was actually said, because it seems an ultra odd comment for an assistant coach to make, and we have heard many fabricated rumours on here. Also, the retort of 'you weren't there so you can't deny it' is not a good one. Just because I wasn't at the royal wedding doesn't mean that I'll believe someone when they say that the Queen gave Prince Phillip a wedgie.

Grimes Is Good also posted that he knew Greg Wells would be the next President a couple of weeks before Bartlett was named...

The question was asked " will we target a KPF in the off season" as Dan McPherson is one of our forward coaches. His response was what I posted earlier. They will be looking to bring in a ruckman.

Believe it or not I have better things to do than make crap up to get a bite out of a pathetic poster on this site....

You said "they will be bringing in a ruckman to replace Jamar". Big difference.

Jamar's contracted for next year so obviously he didn't mean replace right away.

As Roos said to ling post match, games are won and lost in the middle. We need more quality through there. We corrected the midfield in a big way but Cross is 31 and Vince is about 28.

We need mids and half backs that can run and use the ball and get it forward efficiently.

I think mids. 2 or 3 mids can easily be tagged out of games now, 6 or 7 good mids cant be. Tyson being tagged last week made me realize it when we didnt have all that much depth to pick up the pace.

I do think we need another key forward to join Dawes and Hogan next year, if only because you have to account for injuries. It's left us very vulnerable this year and basically meant Roos has had to compromise his ideal game plan until he has the necessary players to pull it off.

I'm not sure another KPF is required if Hogan comes good and Dawes remains competitive but hits the scoreboard a little more regularly. For me the void seems to have been created by Howe's move into defence. I think it was fairly widely accepted that Howe would be that third forward to bob up and kick a few here and there and maybe one day become a Bruest or Gunston type. Maybe he still has that ability and potentially under Roos he will provide. At the moment though he's made the back half his home.

Stuie get off the internet and go to the outside world because everyone here clearly understands there is merit in the comment. It's bleeding obvious since Jamar came back in how much we rely on him FFS if he goes down we are in a spot of bother for a while again. Spencer and Gawn are not ready to lead our ruck division yet. Meth Coast have Sinclair, Lycett, waiting in the wings for Cox or Natanui, Freo have Sandilands, Clarke and Griffin playing well in the WAFL waiting to get his chance. That's just two sides with 3 players capable of leading a ruck division not to mention those they have waiting in the wings.

Back on topic in regard to a KPF or KPT young Tyler Keital from East Perth has stood up well for WA in their games so far, is a forward but can swing back and take marks floating across half back. Some good upside in this kid.

Salem will be a high quality mid, Tyson nearly is already, you'd think Viney is a lock to hit the elite bracket.

Nathan Jones is relatively young still. Also, I think Vince can play till he is at least 32.

I still remember Bernie dominating a SANFL game a couple years back and he is one of the more natural footballers I've seen.

Vince is pure football, I see no reason he cannot keep playing for another 5 years.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
