Does that mean that Fitzy is in the main group?

The fact that the name "Fitz" appears between those of Dawes and Riley in the listed players for the rehab group, would tend to indicate he is not OD... I know, I know, it's early in the day :)

And what happens as soon as I make this smartass reply, Lamashtu above posts a rehab group list that does not include Fitzy.

I didn't read anything in that specifically mentions what Clark is now struggling with.

My better judgement as a Melbourne supporter is to panic, but I will hold off until the serious stuff gets near.

One group gone in early including Grimes, Spencer, Nicholson, and a few others

paul roos at sydney

master of preseason silence

first order=get players right

second order=tell the press nothing

PR will make sure clark, dawes, aand jamar come back at the right time and play only when fit

the time is here when we dont PANIC

preseason and practise matches will be exactly that and nothing else,so dont expect to see a full team in these games

PR loves the bigger players and trusts them in tight games, jamar is definately on his 'must have list',

always remember the no news swans coming out every year with a ready to go team

Dawes, Salem, Kent, Dom, Toump and Frawley all practicing set shots at goal. Dawes has fantastic accuracy, hardly missing a shot.

Dom Tyson out of main group early now doing lap work with Tappy. Frawley, Kent, Barry, Dawes, Toumpas, Trenners, Salem having shots at goal.

JKH. Howe. Blease

Garland Pederson Trengove

Dunn can take Garlands spot in the backline or vice versa.

OMG - the world is coming to an end. Must be so - read it in the press :-(((

Very impressive full-ground circuit work at sustained pace Cross, Vince, Jones, Strauss, Dunn, JKH, Blease, Hunt, Howe all looking good

The group that went inside earlier now back on the track, so everyone on list involved in something with the exception of Viney

Hi all, is Viv Michie out there?

Interesting article in the HUN today re health of our key forwards or perhaps more appropriately lack of it.

Comment from JM was we cannot guarantee Clark will be ready for round 1.

Hmm does not sound good to me.

Still not up to full training.

I am worried about Clark

Why would you worry about someone that's barely played in 2 yrs, it's time to look to the future Clarks finished he's body's not up to AFL standard and the sooner his contracts up the better, he's the highest paid player at the club and we can use that money for someone else.

Terrible post.

He sustained a serious foot injury. Has nothing to do with whether or not his body is up to AFL standard which it most certainly is.

Anybody with half a brain knows that he is one of our most important players if not our most important player on our list.

He will come back into the side when fit and will dominate. Your silence will be deafening.

Your a dreamer, to be an important player you have to be able to play, and to be able to play you have to train, anyone with Half a Brain would know his body isn't up to AFL standard.

I really hope we can shove this back down your throat at the end of 2014 - but until then all I can do roll my eyes because you might be right.

But, jeez, you say it like you actually know, and like the rest of us, you don't.

Its reality, you think I like going to the G and getting smashed I'm not happy about it , the guy can't train he's heding into his 3 rd year and he's been a bust, it's not his fault it is what it is he's body's not up to AFL Standard , it's sad but true.

You think maybe that you should stop posting in "Absolutes" ?

When discussing Paul Roos coaching us last year you said ( and I quote) - Next, who ever thinks he will coach us is delusional .

Injuries like coaching appointments aren't over until they are over. Clark has had a bad run with injuries but no worse than the Golden boy Hird had and he came back, no more than the Ox and he came back and lots of others.

He isn't a bust just yet.

And I can tell you are not happy, mjt.

Mjt you fool do u know that mat richardson had the same foot injury as mitch, and he went on and kicked over 600 goals after that injury.

Haha this will be on the mjt highlights tape.

He's had a severe navicular injury.

It takes time to get right, especially when the pins in his foot moved around.

It's not ideal, but to write Clark off at this stage is premature and ignorant.

Vintage Machsy , E25 , Jose, Artie , Keyser Soze and whoever else you have been.

It used to be that when people wrote about "Col" I didn't know whether they meant Sylvia or Garland. Then we had people writing about "Jones" with it unclear whether they meant N or M. Now we have two called "Dom" to add to the confusion.

But now I realise it doesn't actually matter. The reader can assume what he or she likes and the training reports are still valuable.
