I beg your pardon???

Do you realize where these cowboys have left our club????

With a payout that is equal to a decade in my job.

Time for you to grow up Stuie.

We should be able to charge these clowns with treason.

You're comparing a guy who loves the club and tried his best but just wasn't good enough to a disgraced operator who cost the Storm 2 premierships with shifty dealings.

Pathetic WYL, even by your standards.

I recall several similar posts about Neeld when he came on board.

"breath of fresh air", "tells it like it is", "no [censored]"

:)

Good point.

It is the easiest thing in the world to come into a new job/club/whatever, and say "its all sh9t". Now we do it my way.

Time will tell (but I am positive and optimistic....even thinking of going this arvo.... )

like Range Rover said, you lost.

listen to what PJ said Stuie.

CS was incompetent from the moment he signed Energy Watch.

If Schwab "loved" the MFC he would have left gracefully after 186.

My standards are higher than yours if you still rate CS.

He better not cross my path. I have a long memory and a big voice.

He will be hit with both barrels loaded.

ouch, parko has said our list is bereft of talent - maybe 8 or 9 players on our list would make the other sides in the competition.

I respect Parko but he's been in the media for far too long and he's now drinking his own bath water. There have been a few insightful articles in the press concerning the makeup of our list (Emma Quayle's is one that immediately comes to mind) that rebuts what he says. The proof of course, will only come out over the next year or two.

I've seen the comparison made with Port Adelaide and how it's progressing this year under Ken Hinkley but the truth is that the two lists are entirely different and I still maintain that if we could gather out forces together and had them all fit and firing at once we wouldn't be that far off the pace with most of the teams outside the top eight. With good recruiting and coaching into 2014 we might even surprise.

That's pretty standard.

Peter Jackson is amazing.. What a professional.

He would have absolutely zero respect for that clown Schwab.

He also indicated that appointing the two Jacks was a mistake, and that there is no one on our list like Hodge who leads both on and off the field.

Also said that the club would no longer leak like a sieve to the media - used the example of no one knowing Neeld was being fired on Monday as the example.

Very, very impressive interview.

Surely the second part of that contradicts the first? If there's no Hodge, then find the next best alternative - even if they aren't Hodges?

Is there a podcast to the interview? I only caught a sliver of it.

We need to hear the whole thing.

The shareholders are being informed finally

Who said I rate CS? I said saying he's the same as one of the most disgraced and dodgy sports operators of the last 20 years (Waldron) is a ridiculous call.

He tried his best, he wasn't anywhere near good enough. Grow up WYL.

like Range Rover said, you lost.

You're not even comprehending the argument. Just give up now.

Waldron and CS left their respective places of employment in an absolute shambles.

CS must be paid out. What a disgrace.

"He tried his best..."

His best was hopeless. Listen to what PJ is saying.

This scam did not ocur overnight.

We were all conned by a very smooth operator.

Just like our neighbours the Storm.

Different tactics that's all.

His best was nowhere near good enough. That's what I said. But he did not con us or scam us or do dodgy dealings like Waldron. You're comparison is incorrect and offensive. Get over the conspiracy theories mate, people aren't out to get us, we just haven't had the right people.

Which famously became a similarly-worded cop-out.

many suspected this was how it is but fresh eyes are just confirming it.

I always rate a person who says what he means, doesn't embellish and is a strong communicator. So few people are - particularly it seems those involved at the dees in recent times

Conspiracy Theories, who mentioned those?

Incompetence was the main ingredient. Scam i equate to Ben Polis, who's signature on a contract is worthless. CS must have known it was a slimy door to open, but he did it.

And the board still extended his tenure.

AND YOU STUIE STILL AFTER ALL THIS EXCUSE THEM.

amazing.

WYL, come on, you're not that dumb.

Where did I excuse anyone? I'll say it AGAIN.. "SCHWAB TRIED, BUT WAS NOWHERE NEAR GOOD ENOUGH"... there you go, it's in capitals just like you like. Try and read it this time. FFS.

But you're comparison of him to someone like Waldron just shows you're lack of understanding, and you're blind confused anger.

I don't see an excuse WYL, stuie is trying to explain to you CS is not in the same league as Waldron. CS was not good enough in his role while Waldron cheated his way to success . A big enough difference even for you to comprehend

blind confused anger....i don't think so Stuie.

CS and the board effectively liquidated the club. CS has a pay out for this incompetence & he effectively wrote out a cheque for CC who has had the most cushy jobs in 5 years.

Theft we could almost call it.

For God Sake the players see no future in the joint.

The CEO was Schwab through it all.

i am not saying they walked the same path. But they should be remembered the same way.

I hope Cameron Schwab was listening. The tunein app goes everywhere.

Can i have my $7,000 back please CS. out of your pocket.

Look what you have done??

I am so angry at all this.

Wyl u have got to let this anger go mate otherwise it will eat u up and spit u out.

Don't get me wrong I totally understand where u are coming from but learn to let it go.

We seem to be on the right track now FINALLY.

Chin up mate.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
