You've got to be ****ing me. He played as a small defender on Zorko, who was left unattended all day and all his goals were unopposed, and offensively, his last name would be more suited as turnover. Mostly good but Terlich is way out of his depth.

Whilst on the topic of out of depth and the 3 word analysis;

Sam Blease sucks.

Trengove - Obviously lacking pace
Grimes - Turnovers ruined it (C'mon, AFL captains don't do that (censored))
N.Jones - Toweled up today (By Raines, of all people...)
Watts - Talent, lacking fitness
Frawley - Second efforts PLEASE!
Byrnes - Good in patches
Sylvia - Really impressed today
McKenzie - Lacking touch, imagination
Rodan - Tried heart out
Blease - 5 minute performance (exactly)
Garland - Very impessed, thankyou
Terlich - Good defensive run
Pederson - Dumb positioning, what the (censored) are you on?
McDonald - Don't give ball!! (Otherwise good.)
Evans - Excellent run all day. (Unsighted after first - He wasn't unsighted, Mark Neeld through him in defense to do the running others didn't want to do. Looking at you Jack Watts)
Tapscott - Becoming a player (He's playing like an AFL player and will get better. Tough as nails!)
Davey - Tried hard, unfortunate
Gawn - Brilliant contested footy
Howe - Tried all day
Jamar - Game plan please. (Despite perceptions, the ruckman have to be very smart to hit to advantage and be creative with centre breaks. Just didn't have it.)
Bail - Glory hound, selfish
M. Jones - Ran for us!!

Bail burnt his team mates on three seperate occasions to have a shot on goal. I like him as a player but he needs to improve his decision making. Not that he's alone in that area.

Rohan Bail has one or two chances a game where he should convert, but he rarely converts on the run. If he could take those chances, that turns an average 16 disposal game where he burns a couple of chances, to a 16 disposal, 2 goal performance which is decent.

So Zorko did have an opponent after all.

That’s the problem. He misses shots he isn't likely to convert while ignoring team mates in a better position. I'd much rather a 16 disposal 2 goal assist game than a 16 disposal and 2 behinds game.

I agree, but I think any decent league footballer should be slotting 80-90% of those chances as opposed to the the 20-30% that Bail does. Either way, whether he takes them on or lays it off, it isn't good enough. In saying that, I do like Bail and think he can get there, but he either needs to take those chances or turn them into assists.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
