Ask Neeld a question

Why did you make 2 inexperienced footballers captain and and p1ssing off Frawley,Rivers,Moloney in the process causing dissent in the team.

Why did you think replacing Moloney with Rodan and Martin with Pederson was a good idea-i'd take those 2 back in a heartbeat.

Why do you persist with a useless zone defence when our players don't buy it,we stand so far off our opponents that we can't even tackle them resulting in 54 and 35 tackles in 2 games, there is no pressure on the opposition ball carrier resulting in an avalanche of goals.

After your next 2 games of coaching, what are your plans for the rest of the year?

GWS will beat us,those kids are skilful enough to hit targets under no pressure and Cameron/Patton will kick 12

The two top points Jack i think answer each other - on field and off field leadership has been very poor from our 'Senior' group (rightly or wrongly from whats happened in the past) And I feel Pederson and blokes like that have been brought in to fill the massive gap.

Has it worked - no, not yet.

And Rives choose to leave, so that leads to the question - why are these pi$$ed off senior players still at the club? Why do they feel they can take the pay check but not put in on field? Why do you get the choice to disagree with the coach?

The rest of your post i agree with

For me i don't care who is right or wrong from 2009 to now - these blokes represent our club on and off the field and from 2009 to now those leaders you mentioned have not done their jobs - Frawley gets a honourable mention as not having a lot of support for a young bloke

Do you read Demonland?

if that is a question to I - I do not read a lot of Demonland no

Do enjoy the occasional debte :)

And bloody confused why such poor preformances are happening on field - if anyone thinks its and easy answer they are kidding themselves

2 coaches in 3 years can't get the required output form this group. Do we think a new coach is giong to make this all go away?

I do realise a lot of this thread is to make fun of our situation - but it is still an interesting read

Probalby a poor thread for my contributions but it's too hard in 30 mins at lunch and in the morning to catch up with every discussion :)

I agree UH I keep saying the same thing.

We have a poor list there are about a dozen out of 40 that are AFL standard.

You cannot pull up your socks if you don't have any on.

IMO it is that simple.

I would like to know from you Waltham and Watts jurrah Dunn why you think change wasn't needed or what changes should have been made?

Change was absolutely needed, however there are many ways to achieve it and I have personally witnessed a number of organisations have the right ideas, but jump in too quickly to achieve it. I would think the question is worth asking!

It is obvious to all that our mid-field has been the biggest issue. Simply we have the worst in the league with only GWS in the same category.

This being the case why has MFC trading concentrated on KPP? In the last 2 years 5 KPP have been recruited. I would suggest that Clark, Dawes were worth recruiting and have plugged a hole but at least 2 or the other 3 should have been midfielders. If you struggle to win stoppages you will struggle. I believe this is our primary problem.

Why do you think so many players have gone backwards under your time as senior coach?

If one train leaves the station travelling west at 30kmh at 6pm, and another leaves the station on a parallel track travelling west at 50kmh at 6.30pm, when will they meet?

Around 7:15pm or 37.5km west of the station.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
