I'll try and make it, parking is a problem. But worth the effort.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but for those like me who can't make it, another way to get around the boys and give them a lift might be to use social media.

A lot of players have Twitter accounts, so those of you who are on Twitter, lets flood their feed with messages of support for this weeks game and let them know their is still plenty of love out there, and maybe in a small way lift their confidence.

Just sent a msg to the MFC facebook page asking them to post something on their wall regarding training on Friday and letting them know we would be trying to get as many ppl as possible down to support the boys. Not sure if they'll put it up, but definitely worth a try.

If anybody needs a coffee, there is a place in Richmond train station, a bike shop/café on other side of railway bridge, and ( I know) Westpac centre or whatever it is called these days, and there is one at AAMI Park itself. Get there early coz last week the VFL side was training before will be same this week would think, I can ask my contacts at the Club to confirm...the hairy one will be there beard and all...already promised Mark Neeld last Monday

Satyriconhome, I know you are having a bit of fun but I thought I would add an explanation anyhow...

Margaret Mead was an American cultural anthropologist, who was frequently a featured writer and speaker in the mass media throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Margaret Mead was a woman who blended knowledge and action. Time, in fact, named her "Mother of the World" in 1969. Fearless in the face of controversy, Mead refused to temper the passions of her positions on the (social) issues of the time.

Hi Guys, Chookrat here. I will be there on Friday and am really looking forward to showing support and solidarity at our club during this challenging period. Right now I think the best thing we can do is show up in numbers at training and at games to let the players and coaches know we believe they can turn it around and will accept nothing less. Go Dees!!

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane

The Demons once again went goalless in the last quarter and were run down by the Lions at the Gabba in the final minutes of the match ultimately losing the game by 5 points as their percentage dips below 100 for the first time since 2020.

It's Game Day and the Dees are deep in the heart of enemy territory as they take on the Lions in Brisbane under the Friday Night Lights at the Gabba. Will the Demon finally be awakened and the season get back on track or will they meekly be sacrificed like lambs to the slaughter?

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
