Box Hill now 35 points in front and coasting. Terlich still best for Casey. Maxy in the rooms and Casey have no ruckmen.

Ohhhhhhhhhh....... I'm hoping that's just due to match fitness....

Bonkers who would be the best 3 Dee's?

I've only been at the ground second half. But from that I'd say Terlich & Kent. Couch was good in the 3rd but has gone quiet from what I can see. Tom McDonald has been solid.

Terlich good

Gawn did some nice things

Barry looks a million $$ in space but doesn't like contact

Magner & Couch always have a go

Trengove plodding around without much impact at all

Taggert didn't do much

Overall it was ugly to watch without any flow to the game.

Yes ... probably pre planned.

Meanwhile, another goal to Kearns but a Box Hill player lining up for goal ... and misses. Less now 31 points.

Hopefully Neeld leaves Trengove in the VFL and makes him work hard, like any other player on our list would have to.

You should earn games, just like you should earn captaincies.

Good to hear that Terlich done well, he looks a real player, I think he'll have a good year.

Kent just ticking along nicely, hopefully he can play a part in our side.

Barry, go you good thing.

Trengove should need to dominate in the VFL to move back to the seniors id say

Lets hope he dosnt become a casey dweller.

I agree... It's been a long time since I've seen quality football from Trengove.

I thought he looked really slow last year.

Based on reports, Terlich will be unlucky to miss out on selection next week. Depending on team performance of course

He's running for match fitness, will be back in as soon as MIsson says yes.

Just because his fit dosnt mean he should be guaranteed a spot in the firsts. He needs to perform to.

Blind faith has never got us anywhere.

As we said yesterday rjay

He is 2 months behind everyone else with poor pre season.

You cannot do much running / fitness work with a broken foot.

Stay with my expectation of June before anything worthwhile.

Efficiency?

We don't want Moloney stats.

From the updates throughout the game, it seems Terlich stood up well today. If it were 4 quarter effort from him, then surely that would warrant a round 2 call up.

I look forward to Caseys usual comprehensive and objective report

Hope it is more positive than the above appears.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
