May I suggest you are half to blame for these constant back and forth jives?

I mean, you keep feeding the antagonist...

I like Biffen and BBO's input, get a sense of humour stuie, it's not all doom and gloom :)

Feel free to read the thread Sloonie. I said nothing even remotely directed at Biffen and he comes out with these gay slurs and insults, and you think that's acceptable? He's following around my posts and starting this stuff with me quite often, all I want is to talk footy. It's not about humour.

AC/DC...... If you want blood, you got it!

Or If this season doesn't go so well, then...... AC/DC..... Shot down in flames!

I don't understand the point of this song.

Grand Old Flag plays as we run onto the ground. If the club wants to change that, they'll have 0 members. So when does this song play? Beforehand? Then no one can see the players, as they're still down the race, so what's the point? Afterwards? Totally out of place, unnecessary, and reminiscent of the bugler, who was not the best (read: was an embarrassing joke).

This^^

When is the song supposed to be played.

Isn't "Grand old Flag" played as the team run down the race onto the field and break the banner?

Am i missing something here?

You really add nothing to this site Biffen. Trying to call someone gay because you consider that an insult, what are you 13? Most of us are here to talk footy, and then there's fwits like you who crave any kind of human interaction in their lonely internet based lives so they rely on antagonisation to get attention. Do us all a favour and go on school camp next time the holidays roll around junior.

I was talking about music Stuie .

Why do you have to reduce everything down to the level of gay insults , lesbians etc

And I'm not allowed on school camp any more since the intervention order.

Sorry to offend your music tastes-I obviously struck a raw nerve.

FWIW I'm into disco, which is on the verge of a comeback.I just know it is.

See , you accuse me of not talking about footy and the thread topic is actually about what crappy song we should tell the AFL to play for us to jazz up the coverage .

Have you got any suggestions?

Maybe something along the lines of footy ,footy something ,win ,tough ,footy .Staying focused ,Something like that.

If Cameron Schwab has any say in the selection I'm expecting a nostalgic nod to our past .. perhaps Yesterday by Paul McCartney

Back in Black?

In keeping with the general Demonic theme:

Bowels of the Devil - Body Count (Jack Viney runs out in an ice hockey goalie mask, a la D-Roc)

From Hell they Came - Misfits (Mitch Clark sporting a Devilock)

I think that was my fault, & your right, the 'Grand Ol' Flag' plays as the players run out.

So I imagine it would be the Calling to Arms, just prior to the clubs theme song. to get the attention, just before the players hit the race.

stuie, you started things around a week ago, relentlessly badgering people for doing what people do on forums. especially when things are quiet.

If you don't like chat & humour, have a look at 'demonology'. It's fairly straight & sterile over there. You may find you like it?

otherwise I can understand others mocking you after your relentless posts where harassment.

Look mate, I'm just trying to enjoy this site like everybody else, but when you have a poster here basically following you around to try and taunt and ridicule you it takes a lot of the fun out of it. Sure I had a whinge a while back, but that was in a thread that was meant to be about footy that got derailed by off topic posts and eventually shut down by mods. I love reading the training reports and the thoughts about our club by other supporters, but there's a few here who just seem to be trying really hard to make it their own little social club while attacking anyone who thinks differently.

I think he's frustrated at you for you're haunting him previously. I saw the minute comment re "stuie" in one post today. It wasn't a response to one of your posts, If I recall correctly.

I'm sure it will all settle down on its own if you just let it, & stop harassing.

the chat element will reduce soon, as this seasons training gets up to speed... as its starting to. IMO.

but for us supporters some humour is much needed atmo.

I haven't responded to any posts in any "harassing" way since that thread was closed, but I've responded to unprovoked jibes directed at me. I know it's best not to, but some posters really try to dominate this site and i don't like that.

Anyway, hopefully once footy starts we can concentrate on the opposition instead of each other.

FINALLY! I've found the song we have been looking for! It is loud, high energy and references the devil!

6.66 is 100th

of the number

of the beast

WTH? Devil worshiping math students? Loved it Col. That would smash a few stereotypes!

dominate? not BBO or Biff... I think your overreacting. Biff isn't targeting you, baiting maybe, just because he wants to have fun on the site. And I feel sure he'd like you to lighten up & share the fun.

Intensity is a curse Stu. & I'm trying desperately to lose some of mine. Humour is a great way to ease it up.

enjoy the place, viva la difference`...

Too many soft options here. We have been the hunted for too long and a song that would fit in with our recent media profile and really psyche up the players running out is Megadeth's 'Public Enemy No. 1'. I am afraid any less than Thrash Metal is just not making a loud and tough enough statement.

Ok, Ministry's "Jesus Built My Hot Rod"

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
