I'm thinking about launching a legal challenge ...

I had Sean Wight in mind when I was doing that clue. Someone had to name him.

Ol' slug, what a legend! You could hear him yellin' anywhere in the 'G' even when they were playing at punt road. He could almost drown out the PA system @ Richmond station.

DOF has a run on :) Going by the ? after his player choice, he isnt confident. But its on the money.

In one year I kicked 22 goals in 20 games. I kicked 3 goals in a final. I am also a premiership player.

Ans = Barrie Vagg
Born in Kyabram. Vagg was recruited by Footscray in 1960 but failed to get a senior game and left at the end of the season.
A half forward, he joined Melbourne for the 1962 season and was a member of their 1964 premiership team. And also played in the winning Reserve GF in 1969. He topped Melbourne's goal kicking in 1965 with 30 goals and again the following year with 20 goals.

    The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter.
