My eldest is now old enough to go and appreciate games so I've decided to purchase some reserve seating for next season instead just the standard memberships. My favourite place to watch the game is on the first balcony on the wing but the Legends tickets are out of my range at the moment so I'm tossing up between the 'Demon Seats Undercover' and the 'Redlegs' option, currently favouring the latter.

My query to those currently in the Redlegs, what's it like? My daughter will be 6 next year, is it an ok environment for a little kid? Also, I think the Redleg seats are on the first balcony as well, in the pocket at the Punt Road end, from memory they're pretty good seats as well, what do you guys think?

Pretty good seats, more than child friendly this is the MFC reserve we are talking about haha, obvioulsy the further along the wing from the pocket the better but i like them.

My only issue and it will be on the whole end i think redlegs to legends is that the sun sets right into the view, anyone else get this?

I have no drama with the red leg seats. I sit more behind the goals and my 6 year old daughter comes to some games and it is a friendly area. The best part is the seats are a stone throw from gate 4 so within a couple of minutes of getting to the g I'm already sitting with a beer.

I am in Legends and probably going to move over to Redlegs in the Olympic instead as there is no atmosphere in Legends at all.

I often sit there..as close to the wing as you can get...lol

its fine

not sure whether you have your memberships or stands mixed up Syl but the Legends are in the Olympic and the Redlegs in the Southern

I was in the Tridents (Southern Stand) for many tears years (should have left it unaltered)

I moved to the legends because of the late afternoon sun problem.

The only glare I get now is from the Admin and other staff when I have a shot at a Dees player for under performing.

Legends and Tridents are in the Northern (Olympic) stand. Redlegs are in the Southern stand. All give you access to the Hassett room where there is a balloonist (a person who makes all sorts of creations with balloons for children) - ideal for your 6 year old.

Its usually full of Melbourne besides the odd nitwit from the opposition...

Its a good spot..I wasnt in the redlegs this year but I will go back at some stage as it was very good.

You have the bar where you can get a half decent meal and relaz with Melbourne fans galore and you get to give it to the opposition over the balcony without worry of your young one or yourself!

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
