Following on from my Mason Shaw thread I thought I should look at probably the next best key forward in the draft out of Oakleigh Chargers.

194cm and 85kg so a bit more work would be needed in the gym for Kristian.

He's tipped to go around pick 15-25 so in the chance that Ben Kennedy isn't available at pick 13 would Kristian be worth a look there, especially if we use picks 3 and 4 on say Toumpas and Wines?

Apparently is capable of playing both ends and has very good pace and agility.

Curious as to what people think of Jaksch at pick 13 especially in comparison to Shaw at 4?

Back in my day average bloke implied you were a normal person.

great another toothpick! just what we need coz we have so many big bodied forwards.

He is 194cm and 85kg.

Travis Cloke was 195cm and 85kg when he was drafted.

we shouldn't be chasing key position forwards with weight below 90! ffs haven't we learnt anything with lucas cook and jack watts!?

Along with my above post, Franklin and Roughead were also under 90kg when they were drafted. So was Jack Riewoldt. Everyones favourite here - Jack Darling - was under 90kg too. James Frawley (a defender i know) was 81kg at the draft time and look at him now, he's a monster

Unless you are fat or close to 200cm tall, being 90kg as an 18 year old is rare.

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9.
