I stress this is just another variation of the rumour. But I suspect he has numerous girlfriends, address unkown he can shack up with if need be till he is clean. Given his golden boy status and the AFL's track record, bending the rules for Buddy is also a possibility.

Agree with that. Also, if the club official who you speak of is the same one I'm thinking of ... well, he's trodden on quite a few toes over quite a few years now ... it shouldn't surprise that they're lining up to sink the slipper when we're down.

If the grudges existed purely outside of the MFC, it probably wouldn't mater that much, if at all. Problem is, I suspect some of it emanates from within as well.
