They will take us too easy Dr.

They will think after beating WCE etc.. they are a lock for the finals and only have to play the Dees at home.

Think we are easy beats.

A few players will be back and we will surprise them.

They are there for the taking.

We could easily rise to 15Th ( Redleg are you reading this )

Two more wins and the Dogs will lose all four. GWS are a win and we will beat Freo in the last game with a few players back.

We would squeeze into 15th. by percentage

old dee, your posts are articulate and make sense.

You'll need to revisit this comment.

Lol. We are.

Also they are outside the eight on percentage. They will want to smash us to ensure finals.

Just a small joke there Nascent.

After a win enjoy a little fun.

So, you're back and 2013 looks better already? :)

Not really jr

Just enjoying a win feels way better than the last five weeks.

All I want from 2013 is 6 - 8 wins.

In fact all I want in the future is a team that wins more than it loses.

If anything better happens so be it but I am over waiting for the Dream to be realised.

A winning culture with respect is my goal.

6 - 8 wins? I'm expecting more than that AND I'm expecting some tough, bruising encounters.

All for positivity and fun. Although it wasn't pretty, we got rare win... gotta be happy with that. Plus Essendon lost and are a step closer to missing the 8... all round a good day :)

Expecting more has been beaten out of me JR.

When it happens tell me what a pessimist I was.

Until then I will believe it when I see it. The cattle are not great.

Unfortunately, although we won today, it was a gruesome performance on our behalf. Our midfield proved once again, that they are not up to it. We got smashed in the clearances and generally played at a very ordinary level (there were a few exceptions of course). Howe and Tappy were probably our best and even Tappy had a couple of clangers by foot.

There's no way we'll finish below that mob, but we're still a strong chance to finish below GWS.

Another glaring deficiency that today exemplified is that we don't have a dominated second string key forward to cover Clark. Of course we knew this, but it underlines the importance of high picks this draft.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
