Put Rivers back on Stewart FFS...

OMG !!!!!

2 - two - goals since quarter time.

Bloody awful.

What the hell?

Seriously. This is just some of the dumbest [censored] I have ever seen Garland do.

How can one team be so bad. How?

Tearing. Hair. Out.

Don't tarnish the passable work of the rest of the team with that absolute mare of an error from Garland. That is seriously the most inexplicable decision I've ever seen from a footballer.

Genius Garland.

Prone to brain fades.

We need to get Rivers back into the backline.

He'd be doing much better than Garland has tonight!

Well I have a migraine now.

This is just another frustrating game, highlighted by rubbish disposal, rubbish decision making and some equally poor opposition.

Time to put your coaching hat on Neeld and pull something out of the bag. Switch Rivers and Garland? Strauss to the wing?

Can Blease actually run in the middle or is the little redhead too stuffed from his 6 disposals tonight?

This is so winnable, it's killing me.

You are killing me Melbourne!

Heat stroke.

Believe me you don't want to see it.

Port seemed a bit rattled late in the term......can we run over them????

Stop with the negativity.

Hey Clint whats

Easily the worst bunch of footballers going around its a disgrace\

Im sure they are tanking sorry i hope they are

He's had 14. Carry on.

I'm feeling a little like Jim from Rebel Without a Cause. "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART MELBOURNE!!!"

Gee 44 inside fifties to us to 34 to them....

14 according to Footywire

Better find some players with high football IQ this off season. Far too many poor decision makers currently on the list

What does Petterd contribute to the team?

What was Rivers thinking then?

colin garland MUST be dropped for next week

Two Port goals to Garland now dreadful play both times; put him forward he may not kick any but at least he won't cost any more.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
