Rumour

i heard a rumor on the weekend from a SA native. it was suggested that when neeld was offered the Melbourne job he called Steve Trigg at Adelaide to say that he had an offer, but he wanted to coach Adelaide and wanted to see where they were at. Trigg said that he sould accept the melbourne offer.

For my part, i really like neeld and glad we ahve him so i am not having a go at the bloke. I also understand why he would do that. Adelaide have a far superior list which is obvious so far this season.

I just thought it was interesting and thought that at the next members forum they put together i thought someone could put it too him.

Do you for one moment think Neeld hasnt given 100% effort and committment since becoming a D ??

this is not only old news... its just muck raking...give it a rest

And I take it you deliberately left out the " U " not wanting to take responsibility for raising this rubbish ?

if you read my post fully you will see that i am 100% behind neeld. the member forums seem to have been focused upon the process we went through to get him and so i see this as relevant.

i can understand that some may see this as muckraking but that not my intention. As i member i think i am entitled to ask the question.

if the story is true, then he saw our list as pretty poor. what i know want to know is what they intend to do about it.

Once again, i am really happy we have neeld.

I heard a rumour from a VIC native re: Sanderson received an offer from Adelaide, but wanted to coach Melbourne because he thought highly of its list. Schwab suggested he take the offer.

Or did I dream it up, my memory is hazy, but it was a VIC native....

I don't understand your point. Why would you bring this up at a member's forum? What would be the point or the relevance?

What if he did think our list was poor? It is poor. I think it's poor. Most posters here think it's poor. I's the worst in the comp. Accept it.

Of course he is going to change it. At least as much as one can in a realistic fashion. And I'm sure he wouldn't want to advertise in advance how he was going to do it.

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention.
