Sh1te.Nothing I enjoy more then watching these cheating, arrogant flogs lose.

The 2000 Qualifying final is still one of my favs.

I don't think we were that much worse against Hawthorn.

Which I guess could suggest we were okay or that Carlton are _ _ _ _.

Carltank cheating brown paper bag club can suck it, suck it, SUCK IT!

Seeing Sticks and Fitzpatrick sulking in the 3rd term was rousing.... a.

suck [censored] mitch robinson and eddie betts!! oh and enjoy the success you wanted at carlton judd! nothing better then watching him suffer :P

Maybe Eddie should try wearing baggier shorts?

Perhaps the hip-hop Gods may enrich him with better luck if he does?

its obvious......theyre tanking !!!

Marc Murphy was shown laughing in the stands while his team was getting flogged. Delist!

I felt like there was a bit of bruise-free footy going on tonight from the Blues.

Bye bye ratten

Back as our midfield coach for next season?

What I would like to know is why not a single person in the media has given Kreuzer as much shite as Jack Watts. Kreuzer has been a year longer in the system and delivered squat while media flogs continue to bang on about how good he will be. And thank God Warnock chose the brown baggers over us, spud!

I guess the taller they are, the longer it takes.

Right?

It's a shame the MFC infighting/factions whatever it is/was costed us 2-4 years of development. This year would have been great to do a Hawthorne 2008.

Still like collingwood but gee it's up for grabs.

And Mitch Robinson was seen happily chatting with a Hawk or two after the game....and rightly copped an earful from a teammate or two, even from the "tweeter"...

It's because he's a ruckman. Nowhere is the "big guys take longer" truth more well-known than in the ruck department.

Non competitive ...

Not a big fan of the other mob either.

Agreed

I Tweeted Emma Q this a few weeks back. All she could proffer was his knee injury. An overpaid log though, as is Warnock. The latter had some good tapouts tonight, but very ordinary as a footballer.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
