On the way to work this morning on gold Tony Jones, Bridge Declous and that Lehmo [censored] from before the game getting stuck into dees supporters for booing Scully. Tony Jones labelled us losers of the weekends games and bridge and lehmo said all melbourne supporters need leave Tom Scully alone, get a life and say we should applaud Tom Scully next time. HELL NO!!!!

I for one was pleased so many dees fans gave him hell yesterday, he deserved everyting he got. Jimmy would not be blaming us for yesterday, he as well was furious when Scully decieved and lied to all supporters and a dying mans face. Cowardly [censored].

Yesterday i saw a change. For too long we have just sat back being nice and coped it. If we can show that sort of passion and disgust against certain issues we as a club are on the right track to becoming good. Keep the passion people, love it!!!!

As for Sheedy..... pfffff...... he is still sooking about not getting the job back in 2007, i think he needs to get over it its only been 6 years. Silly old bugger.

KEEP THE PASSION PEOPLE ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT. GO DEES!!!!!

Who are they to judge the supporters reactions? They are not in any way impartial.

Imagine the crowd reaction of the Tiger Army if Deledio or Martin went to GWS and Lehmo would be in tears if Buddy Franklin went anywhere.

We would have been ridiculed as apathetic supporters if we had done nothing. Damned if you do...

I could not care less about the opinion of Jones, Duclos or Lehmo - same as anyone else- which is why they are on Gold104 anyway.

If they had invested 36 years of their life into supporting the Demons I would consider their point.

As it is, they can bugger off.

Don't know how they're ratings are going, but I've stopped listening to 104 for the last number of years.

It's a bit like tomorrows fish & chip wrapping, 104...

That was my immediate thought when I saw the thread title. Does Tony Jones do radio? Hopefully that means he is getting the rrrr's from his TV job :)

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
