2 things that stood out for me;

1. How good could Trapper have been? We didn't get the best out of him. If there has been a player on our list in the past 20 years with silkier skills than him, I'd like to know who they are. Regardless of your personal opinion of him, his best was every bit of a superstar, just a shame we didn't get to witness it enough.

2. Has any Club had to deal with as much crap as we have had to since the merger days? While I take a strong interest in all clubs, I can't remember any of them having such a roller-coaster ride like we have had to deal with. Maybe the Kangaroos have put up with a fair bit, but we've had proposed mergers, finals every 2nd year, flogged in a grand final, 2 wooden spoons in a row, the Broadbridge tragedy, 186, $cully.

I was very emotinal watching the youtube clip (bugger you Muzza!!). I support the Demons because of my late father who passed last year, and sadly, we never got to share the ultimate success with each other. Looking at the ride we've been on, especially since 1987 (I, like many on here, was at the Western Oval, and sadly at VFL Park), you have to sometimes ask yourself "why the bloody hell do I barrack for these guys?" Doesn't take long to realise that you only have red and blue blood running through you, and that question of why fast becomes a question of why not. I had a friend's Mum ask me last year "who is your 2nd favourite team", my answer was simple, "Melbourne". I don't have 2 teams, I am Melbourne and only Melbourne. I can't imagine what it feels like to win a premiership, but I have a feeling that it will be the most satisfying and emotional day ever.

Billy, I was at our last GF win in '64 and as an11 year old could not appreciate it fully as we were always in the finals those days. I would do anything to see another one and would not be sobar for about 4 weeks. Brought a tear to my eye

Almost 900 views... Wonder if any converted into memberships... Not enough tho if we want to smash 40000 members. Anyone have any ideas on how we can get this vid out there to even more supporters?

Well I've sent it out as an email link to everyone I know . Well received too . Getting comments back like "Wish my club would do something like this" etc etc . 'Spose if all our email recipients then send it on ...................

Just linked to your video on facebook, which probably won't do much. But hey, at least I'm getting the word out there as best I can!

Every little bit helps! At the moment we are tracking behind the members we had last year by about 1500 we are going to have to do something to get 40000 for Jimmy!

Recent events have taken me back here viewing my vid again remembering why I started this project. The idea was to capture the good and bad and show that through it all the club with its members and supporters by its side could get through anything, just as we will get through this and come out the other side stronger for it.

We have over 1000 views! #Target40000

Didn't Cameron Schwab tweet it? It'd be great if some of the players did the same, or the mfc facebook group threw it up

Recently I've noticed quite a few people have begun to lose their faith in the club (all over again), so I thought this video deserved a timely bump. All credit to DemonMuzza for creating such a great tribute to the team we love.

Go Dees!

I dont know how many times I have watched this and each time the emotions that it stirs amazes me. The team walking off together is the most provocatively emotional scene one which the boys should watch today in light of Greeny's 250th.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

    BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

    Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
