Black Caviar

Diamond Jubilee Stakes June 23 in England at Royal Ascot will be Black Caviar's next start.

Will Frankel be in that race ? Activity with bookies suggests it might.

Whilst I was hoping she might go up against Pinker Pinker this Saturday, the owners are fixed on operation England.

No Dubai trip either as was mooted. I wonder what the plans might be for our Spring.

Sepoy lost to Smart Missile who then went on to beat Hay List .

The only time Smart Missile and Hay List have been entered in the same race meeting was 9th April 2011 at Randwick when Hay List came 2nd by 2.8L to Black Caviar in the T J Smith [Group 1 ] .

Smart Missile was scratched from the Sires Produce [also Group 1 ] at the same meeting.

They have never run in the same race.

So could we support the experts in racing that believe it goes something like this for best sprinters in Australasia....:

Black Caviar > daylight > Hay List > daylight >

Sepoy should race BC, but only if they both carry 65kg. ^_^

I think Sepoy is only 3 ,so should carry less in WFA but who knows .

Wish I was a part owner of either of them .

I stand corrected . But not on the fact that watching BC and Hay List run is beyond boring -although HL would be a champ in another era .

Sepoy - Yeah good horse, beaten well in the Oakleigh Plate by several. Was nice to back Woorim to a win.

Bulls#$t you did!

No good telling everyone afterwards

Just like telling us what a champion BC is after 14 wins!

HT , if there's a band-wagon ,you'll jump on it -safe bet .

Would I bullsh!t you ?

I most likely wouldn't have put it on, but my sudden interest in Sepoy and analyzing the field took precedence before the race. Given Woorim's first up form, it was a good get for the quaddie punters ..

I really should thank you for it Biffen. Having pricked my interest in Sepoy.

So, thanks !

Then why do you tout it?

Sepoy was the top weight as a three year old !

You and Dennis Naphtine can go set up another win for BC here .

Put them both over 1400 at WFA. That would be an interesting race .

Tickets please?

Haven't backed BC at all. If that's what you're insinuating. No value. Get much better value on Sepoy though, hey ?

Got 9 to 1 on him as a maiden .

Track whispers told me he might win the Blue Diamond !

Didn't think he'd get the Slipper too .

Well she has 61.5 to lump in the Newmarket if Moody has the balls to race her at that weight .

But he wont .

The streak is good-but weight can stop a train HT .

Carbine ,Northerly ,Phar Lap could carry 62 plus .

BC wont .

Put all your cash on her brother if you want a sure thing at reasonable odds .

Hawkes trained-ALL TOO HARD.

Would you send her into the race as her trainer with 61.5 ? - keeping in mind she has already won the Newmarket race with a record 58 kg.

I suppose what needs to be weighed up, is whether she is greater value traveling to the Uk undefeated. It's about the $$ now and keeping the record intact I feel.

Get the vibe re this latest news is they want the Australiasian record broken in Australia before the UK.

If she raced in the Newmarket with that weight I still reckon she would win.

Keeping the record intact seems to be the objective .

That is basically the whole thrust of my argument re greatness .

I don't think she will race in the Newmarket with that weight either .

It's good ,clever training by Moody to have an undefeated horse .

I think we may never know how good she really is until she carries the huge weights .

Her breeding value will be more than her entire career prizemoney .

About $5mill a foal I reckon .

Lucky owners .

So you Think still has his knackers I believe .Some more freakish progeny to come form her no doubt .

Just took a look at Tobin Bronze-what a freak .2 Cox Plates and a Caulfield Cup carrying 61.5 plus others .

Was asked to carry a record weight for a 3 year old. Didn't scratch ,sat up front in a wicked tempo and lost by a length .Sh%t effort?

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
