Any AFL team that doesn't make the GF should sack their Coach. Clearly according to many that is the sign of failure in a Coach. That way we can get 16 new coaches each year. Think of the headlines. Think of the threads on Demonland and all other boards. We could knock all other sports off the front pages. The only problem I see, is that some will agree with me.

Sometimes winning the grand final could be seen as failure too. Sack all 17.

And sacked coaches should only be replaced by experieced premiership AFL coaches who breathe fire.

And coach sharing may have be enforced so a ageing Leigh Matthews may have to coach two teams...

Ironically, the bottom three teams from this year will all have the same coach!

No that can not be right untried coaches are no good and should never get a gig. and that Clarkson and Worsfold are both at there first club.

So that means Malthouse Claekson and Worsfold must coach six clubs each next year.

UNKNOWN FACT> In 1897 the VFL started with 8 teams, In 1898 seven teams tried to sign an experinced flag winning coach. cause thats the way to success.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
