I wonder if some might stop for a moment to think that its being able to do this very job which might give him some sustenance for the soul. Its a focus, almost a distraction possibily at times from his obvious health issues. And he's looks more than a tad crook atm. There may wel lbe a symbiosis of sorts occuring between Jim and his role.

Happy for him to remaiin if he wishes to. But look after yourself mate !! For you and your family :)

Viney said it perfectly in his press conference- Jimmy is the glue that sticks this club together.

I also believe however that Jimmy needs involvement in the club in some manner as many have said to help take his mind away from the constant cancer fight.

As many have said- Jimmy, do whatever you need too, you will be welcome in any role at the club. If you cannot go on as president- so be it. Health and family are always number 1.

Would make an excellent read..I hope it is made available at some stage....We did pay for it.

All Melbourne suporters and members have Jims best interests at heart, but surley Jim knows Jim best and what ever he dose....stay on, take leave or stand down is Jim decision and his alone. The Melbourne family should stand behind him no matter the decision.

I have no agenda nor any idea what would be in the Andrews report, but I too would be interested in a professional, independent outside view of our club.

Jim should retire and look after his health. I would be happy for the club to create a new honorary position for him. He doesn't need the garbage he has been put through. And where are you Gary Lyon? Are you still going to be the standover man lurking in the darkness or are you going to finally stand up for the club you claim to love?

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session. DEMONLAND'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS REHAB: TMac, Chandler, McVee, Tholstrup, Brown, Spargo Brown might have passed his fitness test as he’s back out with the main group.  Sparrow not present. Kozzy not present either.  Mini Rehab group has broken off from the match sim (contact) group: Max, Trac, Lever, Fullarton

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks.     Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
