Can see the excuse this week, the Tasmanian air just sapped our players' energy.

The ground was softer than what we've been training on...

Due to our players being subjected to such a southern latitude at this time of year, they suffered a decrease of the full light spectrum required by the hypothalamus to regulate the endocrine and autonomic nervous systems.

It will be a tough ask for us, flying all the way across Australia to Hobart.

Overseas travel is taxing, isn't it?

All that medical stuff above is appropriate. I'm still sans desert boots and the old in between toes fungal infection is playing up again. FMD, I try to lead a moral life but circumstances ... and events ... continually conspire to [censored] me up.

And .. as if matters could get worse my GP is pressuring me to undergo a rather ... err ..invasive shall we say test ...

FMD - It's enough to drive me to drink.

I believe you wouldn't be so bold as to make a veiled reference to what I heard referred to on that television program of high culture -RBT - as the sacred herb, would you Mr Leg?

Mr Leg I am very worried about you.

Your cynicism is beginnning to tell a sad story.

I have look to you through a lot of bad times for encouragement.

This seems sadly missing in 2016.

Please dont tell me you are about to leave the fold.

I could not go on without you.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
