It was fresh the last time you were in Hobart.

Since that was a year ago, it probably was.

There is a video on the Age website about a married couple in their 60's who have run a marathon every day in 2013 while eating up to 30 bananas a day.

That proves they are the world's super food and we have been spot on on this thread.

Another year starts Redleg and the only thing I am confident about on Day one is that bananas are the wonder fruit and the source of life itself.

Could you have a better recommendation than the couple above?

For all you metrosexuals out there

Another unauthorised photo of me taken of me on holidays.

Just sitting in a luxury resort in Madagascar. Thinking of what to eat for lunch!

Maybe a banana or two.

You win. I'm stuck in Tokyo station waiting for bullet train to Hiroshima that has been cancelled because of a fire at a pachinko (pokies) parlour further up the track. Lots and lots of people here, no bananas

Good Luck with that one

I had to double take the other day when I saw a few of our new recruits partying it up at Falls Festival in Lorne.

Happy to report they looked pretty well behaved, drinking water right before midnight NYE. Was going to ask for a photo but didn't want to be that guy.

my nephews should be in Japan now on their holiday, provided one has recovered enough from the motor vehicle accident before Xmas.

well its time for another fruit drink. I think Banana with pineapple this time.

maybe some Zebu for lunch as well.

off to see more Lemurs tomorrow. Found one species of Lemur that must surely be a true Demon Supporter.

just enjoying a wee dram of ten year old Laphroaig.

Not too bad for a bunch of low landers!

Mick Malthouse is having a sale?

Keep away from his yearlings.

And don't trust Greeks hiding in horses either, as you would know.

As for the GC , wear condoms and enjoy yourself.

Gay Clubs are not all show tunes and Drag Queens you know.

Be safe.

If we think we are having a poor summer think of North America.
I have friends in Sudbury Canada ( 3 hours car drive north of Toronto ) - 40 there yesterday.
Seriously cold.

When did the LIKE button return.

I like that!

Then you will all like the fact that I'm back - a reformed character after my rehab. I've spent a few days fox hunting with "the lads" - most enjoyable.

don't forget the new tougher parole laws bbo, wouldn't like to see you back in the clink

The rules about consorting are also a worry. I'll have to keep away from the influence of those shady types who frequent Demonland.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
