We all know to whom you refer when you say “nut job” and I’d rather you go with @Neil Crompton’s description, “seriously deranged but with a good heart” which is closer to the truth. Bah ! Whinge, whinge, whinge ! It's all gone downhill since they gave you Sheilas the vote! 1 Quote

Speaking of f Legions, here is my favourite joke concerning one. On his first day in the Foreign Legion a young soldier heard a siren sound and then all the troops started running madly around the fort. He asked his sargeant what was happening. He was told that when the siren sounds you could make love to one of the camels. He then asked how many soldiers there were and he was told 500 and he then asked how many camels there were and he was told 500. He then asked, so why are the soldiers running so crazily and he was told, you don’t want to get an ugly one do you. 1 Quote

I suggested we dine at the kitchen table . My son said, “what’s this, 1950s Oklahoma?” Quote

My assumed name that is, for my real name is Áine, pronounced awn-ya. Hadda anglicise it upon emigrating to Australia since I didn’t like being called “ayne” which rhymes with “pain” if you get my drift. 😭 Quote
