They must have commissioned a special trough for you.

I always suspected that BBO was the Trough Monster from the 1990's pub scene

I must add that while I obviously do not have a trough, I did commission a very elegant chamber pot. It has a delightful (and  quite practical) gilt edge.

The downside is that the maid demands extra remuneration to evacuate it.

Being weird, kinky and a pervert does have its downsides! The poor chambermaids of Romsey, I'll wager a flagon of Kaiser Stuhl Rose, have abandoned you and you are plumbing the depths of Gisborne South, Clarkefield, probably as far awide as Sunbury. Yes, there are advantages of being an ordinary Joe from the suburbs.

That shouldn't damage the budget too much after you've processed the payments to her "management" and made the conversion back in to rupees. I'm sure you can chamber pot away without to much damage to the manors' budget.

Oh the humanity!

Instead of mocking my good taste in crockery and cars you buffoons should be sparing a sympathetic thought for our own @Earl Hood

I've heard he’s suffering a severe attack of the vapours over the going’s on among our beloved royal family.

Our! Not mine Bbo. Last I heard they have again refused Earl any sort of honour so that must tell you something. I am all for Harry and the Yankee Sheila earning their own money. She could probably earn a reasonable salary returning to her previous occupation. Harry though might struggle but he might scrap in as a home dad. Charlie could probably find them a nice BV in Vancouver. Problem solved and the British tax payers have a little lighter load to carry. Everyone wins.

Good heavens od, I must say I'm surprised.

I thought you would show far more sympathy for our hard working monarchy.

Please don't tell me you're one of those anarchist/ republican rabblerousers !!

For heaven’s sake Uncle you know only too well that I have been in the Old Dart these past two weeks, not suffering the vapours but busy providing what little help and advice I can to our glorious Majesty. Oh what a tawdry affair I find at the Palace with that American upstart but the Prince is besotted so my counsel is futile, despite the fact as you know, Harry has always sought my advice in worldly affairs.

Really you expect me to be involved with your petty interests and concerns at the Manor or at that lowly Demonland site when I am busy providing solace to our very own Prince Phillip. God bless his soul. How much more [censored] can he absorb from this new generation of Royal ingrates.

Hard working monarchy BBO ? I've just been informed by a gentleman from Salford ( probably not a monarchist ) that the Royals originally obtained their status by dispossessing the poor and engaging sycophants to protect them and that they've been wielding power ever since. Is that how it went down for your antecedents in Romsey ??

Prince Phillip and I share a love a multicultural festivals.

I am informed he caused quite an uproar when he requested the American perform a twerk for his entertainment.Despite the offer of a tenner.

Easy to see how correspondents can be conflicted on this significant issue of world order.

We cannot allow this next generation of royals to undermine the rightful roles of the monarchy. Before you know it there will be exposure of the illusion that all those on the public teat are performing non necessary tasks. This ideology was already filtering through to other political arenas. Trump in US, Boris  in UK and our own ScoMo who all promised little and delivered it.

Fortunately the bush fires have shown the need for governments and supported by the inspirational wishes of Chuck and her Maj the public can return to its state of torpor struggling again to find enough disposable income to maintain the banana industry.

Stirling effort Earl Hood !!

No doubt you realise you have the full support of all the Loyalists down here in the Antipodean Colonies. ( I have ordered the maid to sew a bulldog motif on her smalls to show that The Manor is at your back)

Surely that elusive knighthood cannot be far away?

surely uncle, earl's membership of the hellfire club should be adequate recognition. knighthood these days has more to do do with sporting dross and theatrical types of dubious morality.

Just between you and I dc.
The good Earl likes to keep his association with the above club ..... shall we say discreet.

I was just thinking, what would the NO T$ posters starting 18 look like.

As an AFL qualified Coach, I could see myself coaching the side.

Interesting to see the team we could come up with.

Hopefully BBO could play, as well as carrying the drinks.

OK guys lets see those teams and the reasons why players are in their particular positions.

Surely real qualifications won’t get you a role in this team Red.

OK Red, I'd like to nominate myself for the position of half-full-on-the-fence. I am actually getting better at this role as the years go by. Like a good wine actually.

Wouldn’t you be better Neil, in the back pocket, following your rover opponent down forward, to kick the winning goal?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
