No fair enough as we have a no hillbilly/bogan policy here in Fitzroy. By the way Bistro Sou Sou has finally opened for business in Gertrude Street. As you know the former Madame Sou Sou bistro in Brunswick Street never really recovered from your visit some 2 or 3 years ago. Sad affair really but now they are fighting their way back. Great to see.

I wonder if my lifetime ban carries over to the new venue?

Might be like that Y2K thing and bring down the internet.

Geez, I'd have to go back to buying porno mags!

Buying?

Which will come first, an announcement on JH or a reduction on petrol prices?

Is that a disease you caught in Bangkok last year?

I think for the sake of your search history, it's would be good if the internet did go down... permanently.

Should be a nice afternoon for a walk, as nothing else on the menu.

Do you have any good pictures of Eddie and FIGJAM, sorry I mean little Nathan.

I just can not get enough of them looking so sad and lonely.

Sank am few single malts tonight with an old friend who just happens to be a Pies man.

i was very magnanimous but inside I was cheering the loss.

At the end of the day I still hate the bastards.

Old ages does mellow one down. But old habits are hard to change.

However, as a true friend, did you give him a membership form for the Mighty Dees?

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
