Sorry but my knowledge of royalty doesn't go past the 18th dynasty of Egypt.

anyone else a bit skeptical of "Cloudflare's Always Onlineâ„¢ technology"?

never done a cracker for me

Thoroughly. What is the point of `Always Online' if they only time you see it is when the website is unavailable? Seems self-contradictory to me.

Yes...only non-silly bickering here

It's what separates us from the rabble

But still leaving plenty of room for silly non-bickering ...

We could all hop on the bus to Romsey or have fun in the ruins of the Gat. The possibilities are endless.

We could have Demon Frog doing drawings of each attendee.

Biff could insult everyone as they arrived.

BBO could raffle his autobiography.

R and B could sing a few nursery rhymes.

Old Dee could provide the optimism.

Hemingway could write a book about the night.

Daisy could provide an effigy of HWSNBN to have a darts competition with.

Moonie could bring the moonshine.

Ethan could invite the special guests.

BB could provide a running commentary on the night as DJ.

It could be better than the post Oscars party or at least the Logies one.

Earl could bring the royal wedding souvenirs.

Redleg and WJ could provide legal advice to avoid being jailed on the way home.

The theme would of course be "Party like it is 1964" ...

The party should be this evening

while we are all glued to the telly watching the royal shindig.  On all channels too I think,  we are truely blessed to be a part of the British Empire.     More tea vicar!

If you remember the 60's -you weren't really there.

So say all my brain damaged mates.

I was there in the late 60's but can not remember being a thing.

Which has nothing to do with brain damage and all to do with my age.

Well DC let’s just say I have been approached about certain matters to do with the ceremony, me of course being well regarded in important circles, beyond reproach and of a respectable age, but let’s keep it at that for the moment lest the gutter press get hold of anything and do their damnest!

Happy to report that Charles and myself did the old rock, paper, scissors and Charles got the honour of escorting Meagan down the aisle. Disappointing perhaps but that has allowed me to be more relaxed for the preamble to the big event. So it is great to catch up with George C and David and Posh, however I can’t embibe too much shall we say, as I have been asked to play bass guitar backing up Sir Elton at the after party! Busy times.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
